Typical Irish ambience. Very friendly.

We took advantage of our visit to Athlone to try this Irish pub. The staff is friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is pleasant, with background noise not too loud, allowing for easy conversation. We ate generous portions and products that seemed to be of high quality. The +: the high chair was provided despite some food scraps being found in it. The -: the apple juice in cartons, and the cleanliness, which still leaves something to be desired.

Excellent food, the staff was amazing. Our waitress, Shauna, was personable, knowledgeable, and a good deal of fun to banter with. Cathal was able at the bar, and Colin, who is the owner, stopped by to chat, and made sure our experience was outstanding in all areas. The chef is gifted, and everytyfrom the beef to the homemade strawberry ice cream was worth a special trip.

I didn't stay in the rooms, but if they are anything like the food, you will not be disappointed. We came here not entirely sure what to expect, but it was a recommendation from a local, Timmy, who works at the oldest recorded pub in the world, Sean's pub and inn. The people are pleasant to chat with, the atmosphere is very relaxing, and the music is well-chosen. 10/10 would recommend to friends.

Le Bailey Bar & Lounge est un pub très bien situé, idéal pour une sortie entre amis ou en couple. L’ambiance y est chaleureuse et conviviale, avec un décor soigné qui invite à la détente. Le choix de bières est impressionnant, allant des classiques aux découvertes locales, parfait pour les amateurs comme les connaisseurs. Côté nourriture, les plats sont savoureux, bien présentés et servis chauds. Le menu propose une belle variété qui plaira à tous les goûts. Le service est rapide, courtois et attentionné. Une excellente adresse à découvrir et à recommander sans hésitation.
