The Bailey Bar & Lounge is a very well-located pub, ideal for a night out with friends or as a couple. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, with a tasteful decor that invites relaxation. The selection of beers is impressive, ranging from classics to local discoveries, perfect for amateurs and connoisseurs alike. As for the food, the dishes are tasty, well-presented, and served hot. The menu offers a nice variety that will please all tastes. The service is fast, courteous, and attentive. An excellent place to discover and recommend without hesitation.

Dissapointing it says food till 9pm but we ordered food at 8 but was told food finished at 8, all menu and menu boards say 9pm ,about 6 more people were told the same, menus shd show the correct time, atmosphere nice music in the background, lovely young girl behind the bar, tuesday 15th April, managed very well on her own

Great space in downtown, walking distance to several pubs and attractions. The staff were fantastic and the food was delicious. Only problem was the mattress was pretty worn out and springs were poking through.

Since Colin took over food is fantastic atmosphere is great and very welcoming. Worth a visit for anyone coming to athlone.

Was recently here with family for a Confirmation dinner. The food was perfect. Everyone enjoyed the food they ordered. The staff were on the ball and very friendly. Great place for a bite to eat!

Just had lunch here. We were starting to despair but then we crossed the river to the Bailey. Thank God. Sriploin perfect medium rare and the Guinness burger with shot really hit the mark. The service was warm and friendly and we left feeling happy and satisfied. A return is on the books the next time we're in Athlone.

We popped in for Lunch 4/1/25 and it was delicious! The bar maid was very friendly and helpful as were the locals! Food was delicious, drinks were cold and arrived promptly- overall we had a class wee lunch!! Thank you from your Co Armagh visitors
