Came in here on a whim as hungry and not familiar with area. Food is absolutely amazing, I had the breakfast bagel with skin on chips which came out in no time. Very tasty, not too expensive either, would definitely go back if in the area

The vibe is good.. Ordered Green Thai curry, veggies were good, but curry was very less. Staff is not smiling, too busy running here and there.

Very friendly staff and excellent food. I had the chicken lunch special, which tasted excellent, and it came with a nice Guinness. So, despite the bad weather with rain and wind, the evening was still a good one. I'll be happy to come back next time!

Great value .very well prepared food very tasty..the staff were second to none.the waitress was local .and was very helpful .we traveled to a local funeral ⚱️ as we were not familiar with the area she was so helpful unfortunately her name escapes me .

Fairly good starters: a lovely clam chowder and respectable muscles. Fairly good main course scallops with black pudding – it was interesting but not exciting. Absolutely executable Banoffee pie which was neither caramel nor banana, on stale biscuits. To give them that due they didn’t charge us for the desert after we commented on it. Friendly service, and a football pub vibe.

22/06/2025: Just back home from here. Place is unreal, will definitely be back. Staff were amazing specially Keith and wee Ellie.. live music last night was amazing place was buzzing. Met the most loveliest people and their dog well known dog there our wee joker lol. If they see this hopefully get in contact.. thank use so much for an amazing stay felt so welcomed and beds were amazing lol
20/06/2025: So we picked this place because it’s dog friendly. On arrival we went into the bar and was escorted to our studio by a very helpful member of staff. We had studio 1 which was on the ground floor which was ideal for us. Big spacious room with a double and single beds, a small kitchenette and a big bathroom. We were only staying for one night but it would be ideal if you were staying longer in the area. In the evening we went across the road for food as the kitchen wasn’t serving but returned to the bar for the evening. Not very busy but busy enough for a week night. The barman was polite and friendly and we had a nice evening. Definitely a place we will stay in again.
