The Bianconi in Killorglin

A first time visit for The Ordinarypunter, and we weren't disappointed Service was exceptional. It was a joy to receive good Irish hospitality and attentive staff. Food was ok. Nothing that made me want to say wow! It was all good, and I recommend int but not exceptional. I liked it overall. A couple of points to note: this is a genuine review from a real person. be wary of some of the reviews on TA that are just generic glowing 5 star reviews. They look pretty bogus the portions are very large (we couldn't finish our main courses) so you might just want to share a starter or such like

We had a delightful experience at this restaurant! The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and professional, making us feel right at home. The food was delicious and well-prepared, with a variety of great options to choose from. The atmosphere was fabulous, warm, and inviting. Highly recommend!

Had a lunch here recently and was blown away by how good the food was. A very nice pint of Guinness, the prawns with chimichurri was possibly one of the best prawn dishes I’ve had in my life - blew me away. Amazing flavours, lots of veggies inside and the prawns were so tasty - lovely bread to dip into the juices as well! Also had a Cajun chicken sandwich which was tasty (could have used a little more spice) on great quality bread. Finished with the brownie which had a lot of elements and very satisfying. Incredible service too from a super positive and friendly waitress. Can’t wait to visit again next time I’m in Killorglin!

I hadn't been here for many years and think it may have changed hands. The menu us still good and the prices reasonable. It took a long time for my spare ribs starter to arrive and the meat was dry. The salmon main course was very good.

We had a fabulous lunch here. We all got toasties and chips. Delicious food and staff very friendly.

We were there for a funeral and food was amazing and staff couldn't do enough for us

Nice hotel, rooms well designed and also good restaurant downstairs. We are very satisfied :) the breakfast is also great.

Friday night dinner, half roast duck, vegetables and mille feuille spuds, very good quality, too much to finish, desert honeycomb with cream and ice cream, delish
