An early morning unplanned enroute stop for breakfast. A quick Internet search for options and decided to try Lawlor's. Stepping in to a beautifully light and bright room (on an extremely wet morning), we were greeted warmly and informed of the process - select your preferred seating (plenty of tables, various styles and sizes), pay upfront, confirm tea/coffee needed, then help yourself to the breakfast choices on option: hot breakfast with 3 egg types, sausage, rashers, black and white pudding,mushrooms, beans, hash browns; fruits and yoghurts; cereal bar with multi options, plus toppings; continental cheese/cold meats; pastries, breads including soda bread, white and brown options - self serve toaster, spreads/preserves/toppings; fresh fruit bowls.. Everything we ate was fresh, tasty, plentiful, all the hot food was hot - absolutely spot on.. The staff were attentive though not invasive. The dining area in its white leather and mirrored design (furthest away from my own style possible) actually presented a warm, relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. . The dining area was completely spotless, and the same level maintained through the bar and toilets. Would definitely return, and highly recommend.
