Such a warm friendly greeting Had an amazing meal Perfect service Can’t wait to go back again The chef was great and had time to have a good chat with us with lots off details about the local area We were the first people in but within half an hour the place was full and buzzing His wife was lovely But oh the food and wine were 1st class Thanks so much to you and your lovely staff

Picked the restaurant using apps recommendation having never dined in Gorey before. Restaurant was empty when we arrived but quickly filled up and I can see why. Menu was excellent, food was as described we really enjoyed our rib eye cooked as ordered and my lamb was sublime. Staff were excellent, very friendly and efficient, could not say a negative word about our experience.

Country Kitchen Restaurant

19/05/2025: Super good, one of the best places to eat on our trip. The service was incredible, attentive, fast, friendly, and correct. I also want to highlight the prices, better than in Dublin, with typical Irish food, both in quantity and quality. The downstairs is a small supermarket with takeout, and upstairs is the restaurant, a cozy and charming place.

05/07/2025: Excellent food. Great menu options. Very good value. Service was fantastic. Asked multiple times if we needed anything outside of general service. The staff are really attentive and want everyone to be comfortable. I saw lots of examples of them checking in with customers. Really great to see. Great kids menu, so good to see options outside of just nuggets and chips. Really generous portions. The interior could do with an upgrade but it doesn't impact the overall experience. Fantastic staff and delicious food. Highly recommend. Parking on the main street is hit and miss. It's a busy road. There are plenty of car park options. Walking the main street is a nice way to see the other local shops/businesses. Overall highly recommend.
