This restaurant has a lovely ambiance with friendly waitstaff. We had fish and chips where the fish was fresh and the chips done well. The tomato basil soup is fresh with bread cubes in it. The salad had a very tangy dressing that set the entire dish off. Excellent meal.

Strolling though Adare last evening and spotted this charming restaurant, and decided to try for dinner. Good decision, thoroughly enjoyed. Ordered smoked salmon starter , and duck confit for main, excellent. Staff friendly and professional and drinks reasonably priced.

Fabulous food, atmosphere and staff. We had the smoked salmon, prawn pil pil, burger and peach Bellinis. Sat outside with sun shining down. Couldn't fault anything. Highly recommend.

Stopped here with my husband on way to Dublin. Didn’t have a reservation but the friendly server accommodated us with a lovely table. I had the salmon, it was delicious and my husband had the steak and he was equally impressed. Staff were friendly and efficient and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone passing through Adare.

De stroom was uitgevallen in Adare, dus er werd gewerkt met een beperkte lunchkaart. Prima opgelost en smakelijke lunch gehad. Prijzen zijn wel aan de hoge kant, maar bediening en eten waren dus prima

28/10/2024: The setting is really nice, service good, starter (scotch egg) delicious, dessert delicious,but €42 for a steak no better than one I'd pick up in lidl is an absolute scam. Its on me for not trusting my usual instinct which is to not get steak out (especially when it comes covered in pepper sauce - good steak shouldnt need it) but the place has a good reputation so I expected great things, especially at that price. It wasnt bad, a bit overdone but it was ok, but it felt like charging that is taking advantage of their good reputation. Spoiled a nice experience otherwise

08/11/2024: I ordered supreme of chicken dish, nice meal €22.50, another vegetable besides the cabbage would have been nice. The portion of chips served in a little silver cup was very disappointing for €4.50. Staff were nice.
