The food here was absolutely delicious, It's rare you have such a perfectly seasoned beef burger. Will definitely be coming here again on the next day trip to Adare.

Great restaurant! The food was good, but what truly stood out was the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The service was excellent, especially from our waiter, Rafael, who was incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel truly welcome. The ambiance is super cozy, with beautiful artwork on the walls that adds a special touch. It's definitely a place we’d love to visit again!

The Blue Door was recommended to us by a friend and since it was across the street from our hotel we went for dinner. The food was delicious and well presented. The service was excellent as well. They took us early before 6pm with no reservations too, which was nice. We definitely enjoyed our time here.

Early dinner with my mom and sister. My sister and are vegetarian. We shared the goats cheese salad and the ricotta and spinach pasta. Mom had a lovely beef burger. Great service from front of house also.

1826

29/03/2025: To start with the positives, the food is great. Each dish was well made and nicely presented. Unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by a poor atmosphere. There was a drunk person who was loud and disruptive and it made the surrounding tables feel uncomfortable. You could also tell that some waitresses were also uncomfortable with the person's behaviour. It could have prevented this by cutting the supply of alcohol to this person earlier.
21/02/2025: We had an fantastic experience on Sunday in 1826. The food was absolutely delicious, lovely cosy ambience and the staff were amazing … would highly recommend!

Dunraven Arms

21/02/2025: Wonderful "old world" hotel right in Adare village. Spacious rooms. Very comfortable, if some might consider "tired", we found comforting. Excellent dinner, rib of beef proper medium rare, to die for.
06/02/2025: Always love a visit to or a stay in the Dunraven. The lobby and bar area are just so comfortable, quaint and relaxed. The food in the bar area is excellent and very local. While there is a cosy bar area there is also a sun filled conservatory area to eat in. There are daily specials for lunch ( at least two) and the soup and sandwich combo is excellent value. Sandwiches are either on excellent brown bread or on tasty sourdough. The local Limerick ham and local cheddar is particularly good.
