The Blue Door in Adare

Owned and managed by a lovely French woman. Not only is it dog friendly, it is one of the best restaurants in Munster. (I live in Killarney and would happily drive here just for dinner.)

This is my family’s favourite place to eat in Adare village. Everything on the menu is lovely, but the pizza never disappoints. Friendly wait staff, great location and good food.

Great little place for people watching!

I visited the Blue Door with my friend this evening and I cannot fault it. The staff and overall atmosphere was excellent. I ordered the bruschetta and my friend ordered the chicken and bacon salad and they were both 10/10. Would highly recommend this restaurant and has an ideal location.

We were in Adare Village this afternoon and had a quick lunch in this restaurant which is located perfectly in a such lovely cottage, but we felt unwelcoming when we requested a table for 5ppl, but after that we have a very nice waiter who took care us in a very good way. We ordered a beer battered fish and chips, hawaiian pizza and prawn cocktail to share. The fish and chips was so incredibly delicious and crispy at all, and the fish which coated by batter was superb, I would say that’s will be one of the dishes which make Adare village in my mind 🤤 Hopefully the service will be improve in the future.
