We got some pizzas and cokes- Coke was flat and came in a glass (no bottle/ can), pizza was tasty but in basic, frozen pizza kind of way. Service was friendly- lots of staff. It’s a real tourist spot in a lovely location with friendly staff but we thought the food was disappointing

Scallops for main were nice; could have included some vegetables for the price; Just mash and scallops. The prawn pil pil was a complete let down. Prawns with oil and dry chilli flakes. Please add some fresh ingredients

This wonderful thatched-roof cottage cafe was perfect for our short stop in Adare. The service was quick and the food was delicious. I will definitely return should I be in Adare again.

28/05/2026: Revisited the Woodlands with the IMET retreat. It has become an annual event and I love it. I look forward to the hotel, the bedroom, the food, the grounds, the spa ... It's just magic. Every staff member is so friendly and kind and helpful. Another wonderful experience. Thank you all 🤗

Aunty Lena's

13/06/2026: A cool, atmospheric pub. Perfect location, tasty and cold Guinness, and well-served. Highly recommended.
12/06/2026: We arrived here on Monday, 8th June, with a group of 20 ladies, having booked for a 14.30 pm seating, arriving over 1 hour late. We did notify restaurant of the delay and there was absolutely no problem in changing reservation by one hour, which was such a relief to our Group. Everything was ready for us on arrival to a very warm welcome by the Manager. We were all seated together in a lovely dining room, set apart from main bar and a Menu placed at every setting, allowing orders to be taken promptly. The food was excellent, followed by tea and coffee. The Service was excellent and Staff were very helpful & friendly, nothing was a problem to them. It was a first time for many of our members visiting Aunty Lena’s and every single person would have no hesitation in recommending Aunty Lena’s to anyone who wishes a warm welcome, beautiful surroundings, excellent food and friendly service. The Perfect end to a great day out. THANK YOU ALL, Breda Murphy.
