The Boar's Head in Dublin

Great pub! Had full Irish breakfast and it was cooked perfect and tasted great! Chips with cheese and bacon were perfectly cooked as well. Service was awesome. Will be back when in Dublin.

Nice atmosphere and staff. Hamburger was gristly, bun was bland. Chips were good.

Traditional, being in the center it is one of the most "authentic" I have seen, with almost all local people. Nice, dim light and traditional stools :) highly recommended. Half pint €4.20

On our last day in Dublin we had to choose from one of a thousand pubs. So naturally, I wanted one homely and as family run as possible but not being in the general tourist vicinity. God what a damn good choice. It was good vibes all around, our gentleman keeper, never got his name (unfortunately! But if you know him that send him my regards. he wore a white dress shirt this night), promptly got us drinks and was always attentive. The food was top notch and the Guinness is poured perfectly. I bought a shirt. (Wanted an XL because I wanted to wear it anytime but I'll settle for the L) Food: traditional food means good stuff. Stew was amazing but if you need your F&C, go for it. All of it was top. Get in, get a seat, because everyone else will want to before you do.

Long established popular pub in city centre. Well run ,and friendly. Popular with locals and tourists alike.

Dinner was tasty. We had fish and chips and pizza. Everything was great. The staff was very friendly. The evening was lively. There was a football match on TV and lots of locals. It really felt like the typical atmosphere of a pub.
