Astonishing experience with our infant, in a place for books and coffee. Warm, kind, and lovely readers there. We enjoyed the hot chocolate, the delicious caroot cake and and the hospitality of the owner and the people with in. Highly recommend.

What an absolute gem to find in an already beautiful city! The atmosphere is delightful, food and drink amazing and my husband absolutely fell in love with the owner of the shop. She was welcoming, warm and simply delightfully ☺️ Couldn’t recommend more highly!

Kyteler’s Inn

19/09/2025: One of the oldest inns in all of Ireland. Need I say more? Top-notch atmosphere, old-fashioned service, low-volume music, and dim lighting. A true step back in time.
17/09/2025: Lovely pub food and great selection of beers and Irish whiskeys , great Irish music and very friendly welcome and staff that go above and beyond to make your visit a memorable one ☝️.

The Fig Tree Restaurant

03/10/2025: The food was quite ok, service was not great at all, the waitresses were quite rude to my table, a coffee arrived to the table with some bits of dirt in. Other was would be quite enjoyable.
03/10/2025: A really idyllic and nice cafe. I definitely recommend it! Really friendly staff and very good food!
