Went in on a Friday for lunch while passing through, got a lovely ham n cheese toasty with a proper thick cut of ham, they also cater for gluten free eaters, staff were very helpful!

Great food and great service/welcome

Very pleasantly surprised here as I hadn't been here in over 10 years. Excellent menu for a place which is not Haute Cuisine. Very reasonably priced All of the dishes we were served were tasty and pipping hot. Lovely deserts too. The chocolate brownie was particularly good. Staff were friendly and attentive but not over attentive.

This was the first time in very many years for me to visited this establishment. I was very pleasantly surprised with what I found. A very comprehensive menu with a number of extra 'Specials'. Service staff were very friendly and helpful without being over attentive. We had lovely food... garlic bread and cheese for starters, spare ribs and riddled prawns both with chips for mains: the chocolate brownie was particularly good and the portion of the sticker toffee pudding was very sizeable: both served with cream and ice cream. A very relaxing evening meal was enjoyed. We didn't stay in the accommodation as we live relatively locally.

We just had a fabulous meal with friends visiting from abroad, great to see waiting staff smiling & friendly,and very helpful, great quality food, highly recommend ,we will be back soon for 😊 sure

We had the salmon catch of the day. Salmon was excellent and perfectly cooked, and the meal portion size was spot on. Erica's service was very friendly and efficient, and there was a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended and I'll eat there again soon.

We visited The Brandywell twice in one week. Once for dinner and again for breakfast. Both meals were very delicious and the atmosphere was so nice. We were not the easiest costumers as we made a mistake when ordering and the waitress was so friendly and changed our order. Thank you for two wonderful meals!

Lovely staff , superb food , especially the roast of the day. Reasonably priced for what’s on offer. Good pint of Guinness too. *Highly* recommend.
