Toasty pub and restaurant. Decent food and friendly staff. Best in area, no, but grand. There was a screaming child making everyone uncomfortable. Staff should have stepped in and asked for him to be taken out for a bit while calming down.

We stayed here for cowboys and hero’s in leitrim and we will be back! A massive thank you to Joe and Gerry who looked after us during our stay, such a lovely welcoming atmosphere, food was gorgeous rooms were lovely and clean. Highly recommend ☺️

Had an overnight stay at the Brandywell this week with breakfast and it was absolutely gorgeous. Staff are so nice and helpful. The breakfast was divine, kids well catered for with gorgeous fluffy pancakes! The family room was lovely, spotlessly clean & spacious and the beds really comfortable. We’ll definitely stay again next time we’re in the town. Thanks guys!

Fantastic experience at the brandywell The steak and chips were absolutely beautiful, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the whole place has a great feel to it. A special mention to gerry, the manager — an absolute gentleman. He went out of his way to help me when I desperately needed something printed on a Sunday, when everywhere else was closed. That level of kindness and customer service really stood out. The new staff were excellent too. I’ll definitely be returning and would highly recommend!

Absolutely lovely spot. Staff go above and beyond-probably the most pleasant stay we have had in Ireland. The food is delicious and portions are huge. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be back

We had a lovely welcome from the staff for our stay at the The Brandywell at the weekend. This is our second time staying here and have to say lovely place and staff very helpful. Would highly recommend this place for the crack and welcoming feeling.

I can not recommend this place enough. From the minute I arrived to leaving the service and hospitality was amazing. If you want to stay where you are made feel like you're at home and now a friend then this is the place for you. Lovely rooms. Beautiful bar and amazing food. But it is the staff that really make the place. Special big shout out to Jo...what a lady and huge asset to this business. Will definitely stay here again when I'm ever in the area

26/08/2026: Had a beautiful meal here with a few drinks, staff were all so friendly, helpful & service was 1st class. Close to the harbour too.
13/08/2026: 1 star for food because we did not get anything we booked a table for 730 we where left alone and had to ask for drinks and ask for the menu then the drinks where left on the bar I had to get up and ask if they where our drinks then it was 8 o'clock and still nobody came to us we went to pay for the drinks and told the owner what had happened and he says sorry and gave the drinks for free that was very good it's a pity we had a bad experience as we where told it was the best place to go would it stop me going back again maybe not so next time we call in on the boat we will try and hopefully have a good experience there eather way these tings happen we will just make sure the tall lad doesn't serve us

05/07/2026: I had looked forward to a good steak and nice experience at the restaurant based on most reviews. My spouse and I were disappointed. The chicken wings (Thai chili) were exceptional. Very crispy. The steaks , one a full sirloin and the other a sandwich were a little tough and nothing special. We had to ask for steak knives (which we needed). There were lots of fried onions and musrooms. My dessert, the cheese cake with ice cream and chocolate sauce was very good. There was music ( Sunday evening) which was very good yet it was too loud and make it difficult to talk with table mates. Service was ok, but it is disappointing to have to ask for a steak knife. But it was loud and that made it difficult to talk to the server. I wouldn't put this restaurant on my regular rotation.
05/06/2026: I love this place! The steaks here are some of the best I’ve ever had — juicy, flavorful, and generously sized. For just €29, you get a huge plate with a steak, fried onions, and potatoes. The portion is truly impressive and definitely worth the price. They also have a great selection of cocktails to choose from. The dining area is spacious and has a wonderful atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves a good steak.
