The Brandywell Bar And Restaurant in Drumod

I can not recommend this place enough. From the minute I arrived to leaving the service and hospitality was amazing. If you want to stay where you are made feel like you're at home and now a friend then this is the place for you. Lovely rooms. Beautiful bar and amazing food. But it is the staff that really make the place. Special big shout out to Jo...what a lady and huge asset to this business. Will definitely stay here again when I'm ever in the area

Recently stayed here over the Christmas period for a wedding. Couldn't have stayed in a more welcoming place. From the moment we walked in the door, Jo greeted us and offered a much needed cup of coffee before checking in. The staff at the brandywell specifically Jo and Gerry, couldn't do enough for us when we couldn't get a taxi to and from the wedding venue. Jo, organised a taxi back and Gerry dropped us back the next day to collect the car. One of the nicest places we've stayed, and looking forward to going back. Lynne and Martin.

Great location, easy to find. There was lots of space to mingle before a full sit down meal. Lovely friendly atmosphere and the food was exceptional. There was 35 of us everything was delivered on time. Hot, tasty food served with lots of smiles. The staff went over and beyond. we were in a private room. I would highly recommend The Brandywell for any occasion. Thank you Gerry & team

I don’t really have enough good words for The Brandywell!! I work in weddings, and have been waiting for the chance to work near here again, as it’s not my first time. From the warmth and kindness of Jo, to the food, to the warm and cosy room (I’m a bad sleeper, and slept through my alarm), it’s just an amazing experience!! I love this place, and can’t wait to stay again!! I haven’t even checked out yet, and had to write this again!! Fantastic 💜💜

A Great bar and accommodation in Dromod. Communication & responsiveness is excellent, management did everything possible to cater for my accommodation.

Stayed here with my friends for a night and had a wonderful time. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless and the beds were very comfortable and warm. Jo was an absolute gem, so lovely and caring, and made sure we were well looked after. She moved us to a different room because the one we'd booked had a problem with the heating, and she wanted to make sure we were warm enough. Breakfast was included in our booking, but everything was reasonably priced. The pancakes I had were lovely, and a grand cuppa tea to go with it. Very walkable town, so Brandywell is not too far away from anything. 10 minute walk to the train station, maybe 20 minute walk to the nearest shop. Overall I had a lovely stay and will definitely be back again. Thank you to all the staff and Jo especially for being so kind and hospitable and for making our stay so lovely. ❤️

We stayed for two nights and were looked after exceptionally well by Jo and all her staff. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them and the food was great with big portions as well as being at a reasonable cost. The rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable. Jo made sure we had everything we needed as we had special needs as well, which we are most grateful for. Thanks for everything.
