The Brandywell Bar And Restaurant in Drumod

I don’t really have enough good words for The Brandywell!! I work in weddings, and have been waiting for the chance to work near here again, as it’s not my first time. From the warmth and kindness of Jo, to the food, to the warm and cosy room (I’m a bad sleeper, and slept through my alarm), it’s just an amazing experience!! I love this place, and can’t wait to stay again!! I haven’t even checked out yet, and had to write this again!! Fantastic 💜💜

A Great bar and accommodation in Dromod. Communication & responsiveness is excellent, management did everything possible to cater for my accommodation.

Stayed here with my friends for a night and had a wonderful time. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless and the beds were very comfortable and warm. Jo was an absolute gem, so lovely and caring, and made sure we were well looked after. She moved us to a different room because the one we'd booked had a problem with the heating, and she wanted to make sure we were warm enough. Breakfast was included in our booking, but everything was reasonably priced. The pancakes I had were lovely, and a grand cuppa tea to go with it. Very walkable town, so Brandywell is not too far away from anything. 10 minute walk to the train station, maybe 20 minute walk to the nearest shop. Overall I had a lovely stay and will definitely be back again. Thank you to all the staff and Jo especially for being so kind and hospitable and for making our stay so lovely. ❤️

We stayed for two nights and were looked after exceptionally well by Jo and all her staff. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them and the food was great with big portions as well as being at a reasonable cost. The rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable. Jo made sure we had everything we needed as we had special needs as well, which we are most grateful for. Thanks for everything.

Just back from a fabulous weekend celebrating a 60th with family at the Brandywell. We couldn't have asked for more from Gerry and his staff and a big mention to Paul his super Barman. From casual bar food on the Friday to a sit down meal for 17 in the restaurant on Saturday evening. The accommodation and food was excellent. I'll definitely be back.

Great venue, food superb and the service exceptional

Stopped off for breakfast on our way to Roscommon and was well impressed. Had to be the nicest tastiest breakfast iv had ever..everything had great flavour on the plate .they say breakfast is just breakfast but the brandywell full breakfast was packed with taste! .and the staff were lovely..we stayed here a few years back also and worth it .👍👍

Had a brilliant stay at The Brandywell. Everyone was so hospitable and really made me feel welcome. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay. The food is great too
