Great place for food and partys

Five of us for lunch. Food was poor. I emailed them using their online info but got no reply.

Very comfortable with a wide ranging menu

Gathering of 15 friends on Christmas Eve. Food was excellent and service really good, particularly as it was busy. Portions were generous and very large choice. Everybody was very happy with their food and desserts were very good. Atmosphere and staff were lovely. Looking forward to coming back soon. Would highly recommend for a family or friends gathering.

Service was diabolical. There were 3 staff members behind the bar when I went up for a drink. There was no one else at the bar. Each member went for a stroll outside the bar , came back chatted, had some chocolate and walked away again. They might need to go to Spec Savers or take a customer service course. At least a 10 minute wait.

Beautiful Beef And Vegetables, superbly cooked and very tasty at lunchtime with Friends. Excellent staff so attentive and nice. Very enjoyable

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Briar Rose Bar & Grill, and it exceeded all my expectations! Nestled in a cozy spot with a charming, rustic vibe, this place instantly feels like a home away from home. The ambiance is warm and inviting, perfect for a casual night out or a gathering with friends. The menu offers a great variety of pub classics with a modern twist. I ordered the Briar Burger, and it was absolutely delicious—juicy, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. The hand-cut fries on the side were crispy and seasoned just right. My friends ordered different dishes, from the loaded nachos to the signature steak, and everyone was raving about the taste and quality. The bar is also well-stocked with an excellent selection of craft beers and cocktails. The bartender was super friendly and knowledgeable, helping us pick out drinks that paired perfectly with our meals. The staff really made the experience top-notch. They were attentive, quick, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure we had a great time. It’s rare to find a place where the service feels as good as the food, but The Briar Rose nailed it. If you’re looking for a spot with great food, good drinks, and an inviting atmosphere, The Briar Rose Bar & Grill is a must-visit. I can’t wait to go back and try more of their menu!
