Always a pleasant experience. Friendly staff and attentive. Food is good and portion size fair for the price. I think it has actually improved since my previous visits. Chicken wings and Chowder in particular are excellent. Beer is always well served and cold. Love the heated terrace outside to sit and watch the world go buy.

Come here whenever I am in the RDS, so maybe once a year. Beef and Guinness stew with a pint is always delicious and delightful

Nice lovely pints with personalized glasses in the heart of Ballsbridge. The service was attentive and fast. The atmosphere was quite lively even on a Tuesday evening with a mix of tourists & locals. We were there just for drinks but we saw some food being served to other tables that looked quite nice. We'll definitely go back to try and have something for dinner.

Lovely seating area on the upper floor, great burger and fish and chips, both more than ample portions.

The food is outstanding. The ribs are most probably the best I ever had, and I had a lot. Drinks are good and all at reasonable price. Cosy place and nice to watch sports as well.

Stayed at the Herbert Park Hotel for a week. Had dinner on a Monday and lucky to snag a single space on my own at the bar to eat but loads of Americans still in town after the NFL. Very gastropub vibe. Food is great. Dublin priced (so expensive, but no more so than anywhere else). Decent bbq. Had the ribs which were beautifully cooked. Falling off the bone tender. And served on a mountain of decent fries. Very happy. Staggered home to bed slightly overdue. Should have swerved that second pint of Guinness

We were staying up the road at the Intercontinental and were keen to sample the fare at this upmarket pub! We arrived around 7pm on a weeknight to find it packed and were lucky to grab the final table for a bite to eat. We chose some simple items, my wife, the pork ribs and tomato and chickpea soup and a salad for me. I knew I’d get some ribs as it was a big serving and sat on a huge bed of fries. The food was good; tasty and very filling. Our waitress was very kind and generous which we appreciated.

04/11/2024: We have been there for traditional irish food. The Fish&Ships (Smoked Haddock) was the best I could find in Dublin. Irish Stew was not looking good, but my friends said it was taste. Nice Service.
01/11/2024: A classic Irish restaurant and bar where you can enjoy everything from a good breakfast to sitting down with a beer in the evening. Very good food and pleasant service.
