The Castle Inn in Cork

Felt like a changing room. Still an exciting bar!

Best pints in town. Maybe in Ireland. Kegs under the bar. 10/10.

Late review, but I visited this pub late Nov 2025 after I caught my bloody valentine on tour in Dublin. Extremely cozy vibes. Best pint of Beamish I had in Cork. This is definitely a hidden gem. I had an amazing chat with the owner. When I pointed out the Rory Gallagher picture on the wall he mentioned that he has served his dad there. Don't sleep on this!

A lovely pub — Mary, one of the owners, was very kind (and shocked to hear other reviews had mentioned her by name!). We had a great pint chatting with a local man. Cozy spot, not too busy on a Monday night.

A country pub in the city. Been a pub for 260 years and in the same family for the last 100 years +. Friendly owner and decent pints. Frequently called out as one of the pubs to visit if you are in Cork.

This is my go to when I am in Cork for work. Beautiful cosy bar with pleasant staff and great Beamish.

Proper old school pub and toilets, relatively quiet but the pints were excellent . Had a great feel to the place.

Good little quiet Irish pub away from the crowds.

Had such a great time chatting with the owner, and the beers were perfect.
