The Castle in Cork

2025: Consistently superb true Cork restaurant with plenty of parking - a gem. This restaurant should be a must-see for all Cork visitors due to its beautiful surroundings, convenient access, superb food, exemplary staff, and varied menu with vegan, celiac, vegetarian, and carnivore selections. Dogs welcome at outside tables. Children treated well with activities provided and menu options. Perfect for meetings as well as parties or romantic dinners for 2. 2024: I hosted a ten person Women’s Little Christmas party at the Cafe. It. Was a delightful place to have it. Superb food, beautifully decorated, and the waitstaff could not have been more courteous or patient. We all changed places between dinner and dessert and waitstaff was very cooperative. Everything on the menu was a success for this diverse group including vegetarians.

5 star for the waiting staff, who were brilliant at accommodating, host didn't initiate contact, made us feel invisible, also the lady who made our hot chocolate just left the coffee at the bar top, didn't bother acknowledging us, wasn't nice of an experience even if I was taking a to go hot chocolate.

Nice place, food was just good. Portions were kinda small. Friendly and nice staff.

BlackRock castle cafe cork city...My son treated me to brunch here last week....it has been our 4th time returning here and it is a fantastic place to eat.....I opted for the eggs Benedict and Americano which was so tasty and my son had a full Irish with orange juice...which he said was very good...the staff were beautiful...the surroundings so peaceful and so lovely looking out at BlackRock castle as we dined.. the price also was good.....a lovely place and we will definitely return here again....

Encore une bonne table à cork avec une bière maison excellente. Comme partout les prix sont élevés ce qui me fait modérer ma note. Nous y sommes allés le soir, mais je pense que la journée la vue est magnifique. Question cuisine, c’est raffiné et généreux, je n’ai pas pu prendre de dessert tellement j’étais rassasié. Pensez à réserver….
