Lovely cafe nestled in the grounds of Blackrock Castle. Great offering of delicious bites to eat and drink. Main dining room is quite open and can get loud during the busy times. Good place to bring people visiting Cork or to catch up with friends.

I definitely would recommend eating here. The food & service was absolutely spot on. We went for lunch yesterday, Saturday 31st January. If I had to give negatives then it would have to have been the noise level. There was music on but it was pointless as you couldn't hear it as the noise level was just too loud. I suppose it was lunch time to be fair. A little cramped too to be fair. Food & service were though were excellent.

Fabulous lunch, Lebanese dish & sandwich with delicious salad & chips, all yummy! Great to see a good selection of zero alcohol. Restaurant was very busy but we got a table after a few minutes wait, probably best to reserve as it is clearly popular and you can see why. Pricing is fair, service pleasant, nice atmosphere and food excellent. Will return.

Popped in for a bite-o-brunch last Sunday, and it was lovely! The restaurant is situated in a unique location as a part of the Blackrock Observatory and is very nicely appointed. We arrived at around 10.30am and we were immediately seated in the main space. The was a gentle crowd in the room and we were sitting right in the middle and not overwhelmed by noise. We ordered coffees and we both ordered shakshuka. It was pretty tasty, but lacked a touch of flavour. I reckon a bit of chorizo would have made it perfect for us, so maybe it would good as an option? Paying was a tiny bit awkward. The bill was brought to the table but payment was at the till. It was awkward because the space by the till is usually filled with people waiting for a table, and I had to be fetched and walk to the other side of the restaurant to pay. Still, a great spot for a bit and fairly priced so I say it is worth the the trip out there!
