The Castle in Cork

Good atmosphere and service let down by the food on the day - we have dined here before and its normally much better

Enjoyed lunch with family. Ordered Balinese Nasi Goreng. It was a bit salty, but it was tasty. Lovely warm atmosphere.

We had an amazing dinner here. Great variety of options including different meats, vegetarian options and fish selection. Excellent presentation and even better service. The atmosphere was also great (how can it not be, you’re surrounded by castle walls?). Highly recommend!

The food was ok. Nothing too crazy really for that price. I appreciate the staff accommodating my little brother who is very picky with food.

We weren't able to sit in or have food as it was very full. The place looked lovely though, staff were lovely and the coffee was excellent! Definitely book in advance if you're looking to eat in.

A wonderful lunch… The service was super friendly and the food was delicious. Gerry even offered to hold my 6 month old daughter so I could tuck into my mussels with two hands! Big thumbs up from us all - Thank you!

Dirigido por la gente del restaurante Market Lane favorito de la ciudad. Bajó para un almuerzo de cumpleaños del momento de North Cork y no le decepcionó. Amy nos sirvió y ella era muy atento. Compartimos un plato turco y Mezze (libanés) para empezar. Luego 2 ensaladas de pollo, 2 panes planos de bistec y un sándwich de tocino regado con rociadores de jengibre, cerveza Elbow Lane lager (también elaborada por ellos) y cerveza de jengibre. Todas las comidas tenían una opinión ligeramente diferente de la que uno esperaría - lo que hizo un gran almuerzo.

Muy buen restaurante en un entorno muy agradable. Nos sentamos en el conservatorio (la habitación con el vidrio) que es muy luminoso y acogedor. Hay otra habitación, que en mi opinión es un poco oscuro y menos acogedor. Tuvimos una comida muy agradable; buena elección de entrantes, principales y desiertos y una buena elección de vino. El personal era muy amable y atento.
