The Chunky Chip in Clonakilty

Brilliant well worth the visit ,large portions here if not to hungry share, very friendly staff and very clean chipper, they don't do FISH but very large menu and child menu very reasonable, fresh cut chips , clean toilets , 2 large communal tables indoor and some small outdoor tables this chipper is in middle clonkilty town ,lovely walk around this town and plenty to do in surrounding areas, warren beach is a must visit not far from clonkilty plenty parking here and clean toilet facilities

I went here after a long hard match, so satisfied.Still talking about how nice it was to everyone to this day.Nicest chips in cork.Only fault is the vinger caused me wife a cough attack😨.She inhaled it and got overwhelmed.😫Still great tho .Just go easy on the vinegar

This chipper is savage. We went in starving and came out more than satisfied. The guy out front was very welcoming and put on the kids food as I was still ordering. He definitely knows the score when it comes to customer service. We were also given a free portion of onion rings with the order. The food was amazing massive portions as well we definitely were no way hungry when we were leaving. We loved the.seating arrangement with the window seats overall we highly recommend those place for food

Good Fast Food, affordable and big portions

Simply delicious. Burger was unreal so tasty the chips are beautiful I am recommending you try the batter sausages. The whole family ate there all six of us . And to say it was a brilliant experience the staff were brilliant and the food was ready in no time 10 out of ten . Will be going back soon . I loved it . I had the best experience of my life in chunky chip. I had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful Jimmy, he was so kind and helpful. I had the best time dancing to the tunes, I definitely be returning

Nice chicken tenders and chips. They don't do fish anymore.

Chips were not crispy which is odd as this is their flagship dish. Chicken was southern fried but spice was very mild. I would expect southern fried chicken to be crispy. This was soggy. Ate in as it was my only option. Music was far too loud and seemed to be on for the benefit of the staff rather than the customers. Certainly not my choice of music nor my choice of chippers.

The food was lovely, but no fish and chips. Just got a burger instead. A bit expensive 🤔
