The Chunky Chip in Clonakilty

Without a shadow of a doubt, the CLEANEST chipper I have ever been in. Love the chicken dippers, chips are always good. Love this place.

This is one of the best fast food outlets I have been in in a long time the food is 100% fantastic unfortunately thay don't do fish any longer due to the cost unless thay have put it back on the menu in recent times again

This is a great chipper, firstly it’s spotlessly clean and well fitted out. They have first class chips which I have often gotten here. Really great! They used to have the best fish I had gotten in a chipper but they no longer sell it which is a pity. Well worth getting some chips and whatever else you fancy here. Great staff too.

Went in with my big family and were so taken care of by the man serving us, so quick considering there was about 20 of us there and absolutely beautiful food

Take away place, where you can order burgers, tender wraps and breast. Also chips and a few sides. Quality is according to the price, it is good and cheap. There are two tables inside and two little outside to eat there if you want and you find a spot.

I am not sure what is going on, but to take the fish off the menu, in a town by the sea, is blasphemy! Don't get me wrong, the food was good but what do you mean "no fish"?... In a chipper. In Clon. As someone else said in another review, we're off to Roscarbery Traditional Fish&Chips next time.

Visited here while staying in Roscarberry. Passed by another fish & chip chipper to go into Clon for food in the chunky chip as we'd been tjete before and it was 10/10. They don't do fish anymore???? Seriously. Was here last year also and the 3 of us felt it has gone down a bit since then. Chips were only OK as was the burgers. Onion rings were gorgeous. Only Pepsi on the tap no coke. Pity as it was brilliant. Price charged was at the upper end and too much for what we got. Staff were very nice.
