Went there yesterday. Few tables taken and plenty free ones but we got one for 1.30min only. Food ok and bit expensive. Pork belly taco amazing. Very tasty. Burger bit too juicy. Got also fish and chips. Fish nice but breading too hard. Nice atmosphere inside.

It was our family Christmas 🎄get together .15 people in all.One of the party was in a wheelchair .Over all very good accessibility to the restaurant and in the restaurant. The food and service was fantastic. Atmosphere was Lovely great Christmas vibes.Thanks a lot for a lovely evening 😊

An absolutely delightful experience we had at the Clermont for our daughters christening meal. A hefty party of 27, handled with ease and professionalism by the warm team, who are always so helpful and friendly. We are all raving about the food, so so tasty, and plenty of it - the best combo! The Goats Cheese Crostini is just to die for. Such a wonderful atmosphere, made so enjoyable by the beautiful decor and setting - absolutely ideal for a special occasion. Thank you!!

19/02/2026: We recently visited McGeoughs Bar & Restaurant as a group of four, and we all left completely satisfied. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a great balance of lively energy and comfort. The food was excellent across the board, every dish was full of flavour, well presented, and served hot and fresh. It’s always a good sign when everyone at the table is happy with their choice, and that was definitely the case for us. And also the cocktails and drinks were really great. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Service was smooth and efficient, even though the place was busy. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would happily recommend McGeoughs to anyone looking for great food and an enjoyable dining experience in Dundalk. We’ll definitely be back!

22/01/2026: Lunch with family turned out to be rather disappointing. Ordered fish and chips & we were served two small pieces of fish as opposed to a full piece. Moreover, it was dripping in oil & the batter was soggy. At a cost of €18.50 that's unsatisfactory. Beetroot salad with oven baked vegetables....it was awful, greacy & tasteless! €13 - pricey! The sandwich ordered for a child was okay. Overall, disappointing & would not return.
03/01/2026: A fantastic 'destination pub' in Dundalk - terrific menu of delicious options, all served promptly by friendly staff. Wide ramge of beers, wines, cocktails and spirits for every taste and occasion, cannot recomnend highly enough! For us, the only thing missing was Marie, but we savour the memories
