We only ate here and they normally only take reservations. We were there on a Monday night and most places in town were closed. Another bar called for us to see if they would take us in and they did. So glad, too. The food was fantastic and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend eating here, but recommend getting reservations. Great views from the restaurant.

Just back from a fabulous few days with friends in Ballyb & we cannot recommend Cliff house highly enough. The food is delicious- make a reservation if not a resident as fills up quickly. The views are the best with uninterrupted views of the beach & wild Atlantic sea. The staff are excellent & couldn't be more helpful. Looking forward to returning asap!

Went to the Cliff House Hotel for a meal on a very busy bank holiday Saturday night. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the service very attentive. The starters were very tasty with large portions that meant we could all taste each other's. The ribs were tender and tasty, the nachos were huge and delicious, the starter platters were beautifully presented. The tapenade and home made brown bread were very good. The hake main course was very good, as was the pavlova dessert (which is definitely a sharing portion size!) We stayed on at our table afterwards to listen to a local musician which was great fun! I highly recommend Cliff House Hotel for a tasty meal and an enjoyable overall experience

The Cliff House Hotel is a gem overlooking the fabulous Ballybunion Beach. The food is delicious, generous portions, beautiful presentation and the service is on point. The place has a lovely warm feeling and more so when Noel Nash started entertaining the guests. Highly recommended 👌

Simple menu . Friendly staff. Great view of beach. Lively and popular location with best restaurant setting in town. Very popular and tasty offerings . Owners and staff really work hard to make customers feel comfortable and welcome. Drinks and large wine list to choose from . Paella was delish , meat and cheese tapas lovely option as is chowder full of fish and great desert choices. Both appitizers and mains well presented and very tasty. Perfect spot. View and setting amazing !

Rooms are tastefully decorated, food is gorgeous. Staff lovely and friendly especially Maggie at reception
