We didn't eat, we just had a few pints, but the place was very nice and the service was very good, we had a very pleasant time.

Mediocre food (besides the ribs). About 5-10 minutes after our starter mains were brought out, it was far too quick. Good place for a few drinks but nothing special food wise. The servers were very friendly. Chowder was nice but I've had better.

It looks like an old establishment with a history. It was a full house on a Sunday afternoon when I dined for lunch. I went for the chicken fillet and a pint of Guinness. The starter soup was amazing as well.

21/06/2025: A great place to meet for a bite to eat and a few drinks
18/05/2025: After hiking to the Obelisk and Killiney Hill from Dalkey and NOT taking the "quick way" we found ourselves here for lunch. The staff was great, the vista at the top of the hill looking down the street into Killiney was a luxury. After a few pints, and some tips from the bartender, we headed off in search of more explorations in Bray and Greystones.

18/05/2025: A regular at tge Shelbourne but a big treat to step into The Saddle Room. A must do. Everything was just perfect.
15/05/2025: As best man at my best friend's wedding, lunch at The Saddle Room was a true highlight. The reception with fine champagne set the perfect tone. For starters, I enjoyed the goat cheese mousse – wonderfully creamy and exquisitely presented. The cod main course was cooked to perfection, accompanied by harmoniously matched sides. The meal concluded with a delicious crème brûlée with a crispy caramel crust. The service was first-class and the ambiance elegant – this moment will remain unforgettable.
