The Coachmans in Kenmare

Starters were lovely and food was hot. Waitress was lovely

My husband David and I stayed in the Coachman’s Townhouse in mid October 2025. It is a great little gastropub hotel, with a fantastic atmosphere and food. We had fish chowder for dinner, and of course Guinness. Siobhan, the owner is extremely efficient, the way she runs the place is amazing. She has also a great knowledge of whiskeys, and hospitality business altogether. The breakfast was equally excellent. The room was very clean and cosy. We recommend this small family run hotel 100%. Located in the heart of Kenmare, this was a fantastic place to stay. The room was clean and big, with a comfortable bed. Downstair is a bar / dining room that serves up some great meals and a nice breakfast. All of the staff were friendly and attentive. They often have local musicians to provide music in the evenings. There is some on-site and street parking, but if those are filled up there is a free public parking lot only a block away.

New, spacious, and spotlessly clean room! Very friendly owners. Excellent classic Irish breakfast. Recommended!

Fabulous meal at the Coachmans. Excellent service, delicious food, and were happy to do a child's portion of an adult menu dish for my son. Super accommodating. Meal accompanied by great musicians which we also enjoyed. Highly recommend!

It was really good overall. I went here with my family and the food was really good. I had a great time. The Chips were really nice. And so was the Chicken Curry. Would definitely recommend!

Had great dinner there, nice staff

Had a wonderful stay at the Coachman's as part of an organised tour of Ireland. Beautifully appointed, very comfortable, there is even a lift. There was live music in the restaurant in the evening which we really enjoyed, and we can recommend the lamb stew! Great staff also.
