The Collector in Kinsale

If you're visiting Kinsale then stopping for a coffee at The Collector is an absolute must. Such a friendly owner and we had a great chat with a local regular too. Also the vegan banana cake is excellent; 100% no missing out.

Expect the Unexpected with handcrafted beverage creations at The Collector Not your average café, The Collector, offers coffees, teas, cocktails and other creative inventions lovingly personalized by owner Shannon, something for every palate. Husband-owner Michael works behind the scenes, having made all the cabinetry and beautiful bamboo furniture for the charming shop which is available for sale as well as a small selection of gift items. My husband and I sought out the shop after seeing a front page write-up in EchoLive.ie. I had an Aren Latte & another day, the Vietnamese Coffee. On cocktail night, Saturday, they put up swings!!! Super fun to sway, sip a cocktail and nibble appies! The Collector makes an unassuming, surprising presence just off the tourist trail in downtown Kinsale. Def worth seeking out!

The Collector provides an intentional, well-crafted coffee experience. Shannon was so kind and helpful in assisting me in choosing my drink out of the many wonderful options. I had the Aren Latte and it was so good that I went back the following morning to get the Irish Rose! The Collector is must in Kinsale.

I was there yesterday for a coffee. The collector has really good service and good coffee.

Excellent and very unusual little drinks store.. I got the most delicious matcha. My husband had a zero coffee.. Divine also. And also a very undual desert which was delish. The fabulous owner takes incredible pride in her service and what she provides to you.. Most unusual high level of attention to detail and care In delivering delicious hot drinks.. If only she could train in Irelands baristas and service staff we would have a much better coffee and service culture..

A very nice discovery, I tried the “Bananas Foster” with a small pastry, a real treat and the setting is very nice.

A very nice addition to Kinsale! I really appreciate the variety and creativity in the drinks menu. We tried the Aren Latte and Lemon Chiffon, and both were delightful and unique. The sweetness was well balanced. I only wish I lived closer to Kinsale so I could visit more often.

I tried the iced Aran latte based on the barista's recommendation, and I wasn't disappointed. I really enjoyed the coffee in this small yet charming modern spot. I'll definitely visit again to try something new!
