4 of us went for dinner on Saturday evening. Food was fantastic and the staff were lovely. We thought the 4 course meal for €60 was excellent value for the quality and presentation of the meal.

Brilliant meal from start to finish. Three of us had the pork gyoza one butternut squash soup and a crispy fried chicken for starters. Tasted all...delicious. The mains were equally excellent: half of a roast chicken, a malaysian style chicken curry, two baked cod with potato gratin in a shrimp sauce and a duck noodle dish. Superb all. Well the ' piè de réistance' were the deserts. Generosity of portions knew no bounds here. Would highly recommend to anyone interested in a fine Sunday dining experience.

Just enjoyed a fabulous Sunday lunch at the Cottage. The food is amazing - exquisite tastes and wonderful service. Anyone who loves good food should pay them a visit - you'd not be disappointed!

02/10/2024: Stunning, stunning, stunning! I was expecting a rather expensive experience here but, to my surprise myself and my wife had a beautiful lunch of toasted venison sandwiches with relish as well as gorgeous bowls of soup. The staff were truly beautiful people who couldn't do enough for us and we even made several purchases in the gift shop! Something I very, very rarely do. My only complaint is that it's so far away from where I live! If it weren't I would most definitely be a very regular customer. I can only hope that we get the opportunity to revisit at some stage. Go raibh míle míle math agaibh to all at Ballymaloe. P.
