Absolutely fantastic place, the staff is so friendly and food is gorgeous.

Service and food excellent!! The best services ive received in Ireland. Parry of 11 and they nailed it food came out together and hot!!

The staff were kind, attentive, and helpful. We had lunch in a well-kept restaurant, sitting in comfortable chairs. The food was excellent (I had the stew) and the price was reasonable. Recommended.

I entered the Dark Horse Bar & Kitchen around 2:30 pm. There was only a few people enjoying their meal and drink. It gave me the opportunity to see the upstairs and return downstairs to eat and drink. I chose the Fish and Chips with a Guinness. The upstairs has pool tables and darts. We stopped in looking for some comforting food for lunch. We scored big time with the Guinness Beef stew. Seriously enough for two to share one bowl - unless you are really hungry! The beef was so tender and the carrots and potatoes were perfectly tender. But the broth.... OMG - so divine with such a great depth of flavor. I highly recommend stopping in, if only for the stew, it was delicious and just what we were craving. We also had beer and wine to accompany our meal. The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff enormously friendly and attentive.

Our new favourite place for food. Everything was amazing we both got the cheese please burger and it is the best burger we’ve had in a long time. The garlic cheese fries are to die for same for the pepper sauce. Everything was quality even the large glass of iced tap water. Perfect cocktails and the brownie was so tasty lots of caramel drizzle. Will definitely be back.
