We got fish and chips to takeaway and they were okay. Not great at all. The chips were like ones you would find in the aisle in Aldi, not like freshly cut chips you would find in a takeaway. My father asked for a chicken burger and all it was, was a breast of chicken with no salad or no sauce.. completely bland. Really overpriced too. 60€ for 4 takeaway meals…
The food is clearly priced at tourists and is a bit on the expensive side. Unfortunately, the food was unseasoned and quite bland.
We had fish nuggets, Margherita pizza, and a bacon cheeseburger.
Great place! Just got the breakfast menu by six minutes and so glad we did. About on toast gad also halloumi and a fried egg😳 but yum. French toast was delicious also as were the mini breakfasts. You could even get a Guinness ( which we did ) and lovely coffee. Very very pleasant young. Very much recommended 👏🏻👏🏻
We went there for lunch and it was a lovely experience. Not only was the food great, the portions were generous and the service was outstanding. In particular, the staff were really friendly and also seemed to work very well as a team.
We had a fantastic breakfast here and the staff are extremely friendly and very accommodating. I had the Avo toast with the bacon and it was very tasty. Great coffees and hot chocolates also
08/08/2025: I was a bit disappointed. I really wanted to love the fish and chips there as it was supposed to be the best in Ireland, but the batter wasn't exceptional and not crispy at all. They were also out of smoked haddock and other types of fish.
It was still an excellent and fresh fish, hence the four stars.
05/08/2025: Nice little fish shop, a classic fish shop. The fish was fantastic, but the chips could have been a bit crispier for our taste. The tartar sauce was delicious, and the young employee was very friendly.
