I went with my husband on the recommendation of a friend. We were delighted with the food, price, charming views and above all the great treatment of the waitresses. Easy to get to from the center of Sligo by taking the S2, For the best dining experiences.

The food is delicious, from the starting menu to the main courses, full bar with pleasant decor - suitable theme (by the sea), and well presented on our wonderful occasion.
With regards to all involved
PS - I noticed that the bar separates more formal (private), from the casual front of the restaurant, yet both to be cosy and intimate, ie - we sat at the table catering for eight people close and nearer to the window, but two persons were also available, among others.
All utilities had been excellently maintained throughout our evening, and overall, the decor is apt and charming.
Note that they were open for meals on a Monday.
So, heads up.

Walked past on a Tuesday evening - 6pm -in late Sept and called in without a booking- we had our little dog with us. Asked if there were any dog friendly tables - staff explained that there wasn’t any just now as all
Outside tables taken but to just hang around for a few minutes - one table became free and we were welcomed in through the restaurant to the outdoor seating area - it was in the sun and a lovely warm evening - staff fab, drinks a great price and food delicious - 57 euros for 2 drinks and 2 main courses - couldn’t fault it! Busy and a good vibe. Toilets also very clean. Well done all!

Great experience An incredible dining experience. Beautiful views, fun, friendly service from the start. Excellent preparation and presentation, the hot smoked sea bass was sublime and a highlight of the menu. Main course of lobster and lamb tagine were also impressive. Great wine choices - the Malbec in particular! 5* highly, highly recommended!

Lovely hotel! Stayed as a couple for one night. Staff were welcoming. We stayed in a room without a sea view however it did not disappoint. It was spacious & exceptionally clean! There were also tasty cookies and tea and coffee facilities within the room. Great value and fantastic location in Rosses Point!!

Food was fairly average. We went for dinner. Got an Irish Coffee which was distinctly below average. It is in a perfect location with a great view overlooking the sea. Would go back for coffee/breakfast

We chose driftwood as a very last minute booking following a bit of shore fishing while visiting family. Rang at 6.18pm, booked in for 6.30pm which was surprising but pleasing. We sat down and were promptly asked for a drinks order. Drinks were great and service was with a smile.
We all thoroughly enjoyed our food and tucked into 3 courses of excellent freshly cooked food. Highlight for me personally was the seafood chowder and I had the surf and turf steak and half a lobster. Divine.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area. First class food, good atmosphere and very friendly staff. Couldn't fault a single thing start to finish.
