The Ellison in Castlebar legal

Found rooms freezing with no working heating. No Netflix or YouTube on TV, warm water but not hot. For the price point I wouldn't stay again. Staff were lovely. But Westport was 30% cheaper, better rooms and breakfast included.

Beautiful hotel staff very nice and welcoming our bedroom was spotless good tea facilities our breakfast was gorgeous waiters we're lovely and our evening meal was beautiful compliances to the chef will be back highly recommended

Clean, friendly and professional.

It's a lovely hotel to stay in. The food menus they served are fantastic, the staffs are well trained. Thank you very much to the duty manager Loretto, and the restaurant manager Owen whom l used to work with them along time ago. I highly recommend this hotel whoever wanted for holidays in Castlebar.

Brought my daughter to a concert next door in the TF Royal Theatre next door and stayed in the Ellison. You literally could not get closer, there’s a walkway through the car park to the theatre. Rooms were really lovely and clean, staff extremely pleasant and helpful and breakfast was delicious! Overall would definitely recommend!

'A gift holiday from our beautiful son and girlfriend.....and what a treat it was. From the moment we approached the front desk....we were met by the most cheerful, happy, helpful and smiley young lady ever....we were both blown away by her and as we went to our room we totally agreed if she's anything to go by our stay was going to be great. And we were correct. We booked dinner and every course was absolutely delish. We were also treated to 'The Lord of the Dance' in the nearby TF Royal Theatre. This was also an amazing experience but the Ellison is literally minutes away from the theatres front door so very convenient. After the show, we returned to the hotel, had a few drinks again served by fabulous staff. Our room was spotless, bed comfortable, warm and had a great night's sleep. We are not massive breakfast eaters but had fruit salad and Yogurt, scrambled eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes. The other cooked choices looked lovely. Checkout was effective and again a very cheerful young receptionist. Thank you everyone at The Ellison for giving us a wonderful experience to Castlebar hospitality.....we would definitely recommend this hotel....🤗

Very comfortable rooms bathrooms could be updated seen many years of use ,cracked tiles and swollen doors ,but bed was very comfortable and clean room ,staff where pleasant

It was great to get a chance to stay at The Ellison again, with great food and great staff. We had our Christmas dinner, and it was great. The food and staff were excellent. Could not recommend enough.
