the Failte in Killarney

Seafood chowder is delicious. Fish and chips excellent. We ate here several times and loved everything we tried.

We were here quite early on a Friday evening. Folk still leaving work ahead of a bank holiday weekend. There were only a few customers in at the time. A lot of reserved tables for later. The furnishings are mainly wooden chairs set around square tables, not very inviting when the pub is quiet. The food was spot on. Good choice, reasonable prices for the area and very nice. Four of us had different meals, we were impressed by taste, portion size and service. Beer and cider choice is better than some.

5 star review for everything, love this place. You will never be hungry again!!!!

The staff had missed our reservation, but they fixed it within 10 minutes. We ordered fried chicken and a burger, both good but not particularly commendable. The goat cheese tart with black cherries and mixed salad was good, however. Overall, a positive review.

Lovely place to be! We actually were headed to a restaurant across the way and when we arrive their kitchen was closed however the host spoke so highly of this place and even ran us across the street, up the stairs, and got us a table in what felt like less than a minute. The food was lovely and had good variety. The waitress we had was kind, attentive, and speedy. We also were fortunate to meet the owner of the establishment! 89yo and still present and running the show. Overall, great experience! Would recommend

It got late, and other places told us they weren't serving dinner anymore. The atmosphere was saturated with TVs showing sports. The meatloaf was good, the pasta was just okay. They made a mistake with our bill (?), adding two main courses forty euros. They corrected the error but didn't apologize.

We ate here one night later than planned, didn't have reservations, but we were seated upstairs at a table by the window. They easily handled my wife's dairy allergy with her meal selection. The service was excellent. They also had live music downstairs. This restaurant was near the hotel we were staying so very convenient.

Comimos aquí una noche más tarde de lo previsto, no tenía reservas, pero estábamos sentados arriba en una mesa junto a la ventana. Manejaron fácilmente la alergia a los lácteos de mi esposa con su selección de comidas. El servicio fue excelente. También tenían música en vivo abajo. Este restaurante estaba cerca del hotel que nos alojamos, así que muy conveniente.

The welcome in the restaurant on the first floor is simply wonderful. The staff is super friendly, and the food is also delicious. A very pleasant restaurant.
