Live music. Amazing group of people. Friendly and fun.

We were there in the afternoon on October 22nd, 24. There was an older gentleman singing, the song was called Sonny's dreams and his voice was just beautiful, it's a shame that we didn't ask for the name and if there was a CD by him it would have been really nice, just a great singer .

Amazing place to watch a game, listen to live music and on the night we went, we had the opportunity to watch a group of lads get absolutely polluted.

The Field Bar was our first experience in an Irish Pub on our first night in Kilkenny! This is one of several pubs, but the live music drew us in. It was small, crowded and loud but the perfect atmosphere to enjoy our first pint of beer. The live music was great!

Visited Kilkenny from the U.S. in early July. Loved it! What a spot! I did not eat while visiting here, but I had an incredible time at this place. I'll be back!!!

We were there last week..so much fun & it started early around 6. The older man is very interactive with the audience & gets everyone up to sing with him & the other, younger guitarist. He asks everyone where you are from & incorporates it into his show! I don’t think that they are there are Weekends. Great place!
