The Forge Coffee & Market Store in Castleisland

Heading south for the weekend. Well worth the slight detour off the main road before Killarney. We had a very tasty toasted sandwich and a cold plate with two types of chicken, some ham and a bit of cheese. Very nice fresh food.

what a cosy little gem!! i don’t often do reviews but im a student nurse and this place kept me going. i always loved popping in for lunch/a coffee, such lovely staff as well ! :) definitely recommend !! ❤️

Accommodated a large group (7 of us) getting food & drinks to go. Drinks and food came out quickly, expertly packaged. Staff was highly attentive to our needs. Everything was delicious and served hot (or cold if appropriate)! Great vibe inside. Plenty of seating. Good for kids, adults, groups, or individuals. Highly recommend!

I had a day off work today and decided to literally have a "day off" from cooking also. Where to eat was then the topic for discussion. My number 1 venue today for lunch was The Forge in Castleisland. The round trip was 66km but it was without doubt worth it. I look forward to our next visit

The Forge was recommended to us by a friend originally from Castleisland, they said the black pudding toasties were delicious so that's what we ordered. We were not disappointed! We have never had a nicer sandwich. Full of flavour and good quality Black pudding etc. Very substantial portions . The atmosphere was great as was the service for such a busy place. We were served promptly and enjoyed the whole experience. We will never bypass Castleisland again. The Forge is a MUST!! Thank you!

Lovely home made cakes and nice coffee, very nice atmosphere and the lunch menu looked lovely too. Will definitely be back!

The Forge Marketplace in Circle Castle is fantastic! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and from the moment we walked in, everyone was so kind and friendly. The staff truly make you feel at home. The highlight for us was the coffee—absolutely delicious! The barista clearly takes pride in their craft, and it shows in every sip. Smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced, it was some of the best coffee we’ve had in Ireland. Between the incredible service, the wonderful people, and the outstanding coffee, this is the kind of place you look forward to coming back to again and again. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re anywhere nearby!
