Popped by on our walk of cork and saw this place for lunch. We had a wrap (lovely lamb) and. Fattoush salad. Super fresh and tasty. Would recommend. Service friendly.

Absolutely amazing flavour in every bite and the food menu was well explained for anyone who isn’t sure what is in each dish. There are many dishes and a really good selection to choose from. I recommend the Syrian stew and the lamb. The lamb here lamb is very good here and the spiced rice is amazing. I love all, everything here to be honest you will be seeing me come back soon.

Happy tummy!! If you are looking for authentic middle eastern food, it’s a must try.. we got kibbeh, cheese sama’s for starters, syrian chicken shawarma and lamb kabseh for the mains. Mains were top notch. Good portion size. Ambience can be improved considering the quality of food they offer..

I’m Leba/nese and in regards to Middle Eastern restaurants in Ireland, this place is the closest thing I’ve had to home. Food was amazing. We had the fried kibbeh, fattouch salad, hummus awarma, warak enab and a lamb shawarma sandwich, all were exceptional, could not believe how good the fattouch was! Staff is so friendly and we got a real Arabic coffee after which was also great. Highly recommended.

This is an impressive little bistro. Not only did Four Liars manage to squeeze us in before a sold-out evening, but they also served us some of the best Middle-Eastern food I've eaten outside of the Middle East. Dishes are prepared with attention and care, surprise you with novel takes on traditional flavours and leave you wanting to book-in a swift return.

One of the best Syrian food I ever tasted! It’s nicely done with a lot of care in it :) Cheese samosas were especially delicious.

Absolutely amazing place! The food is just brilliant. I've been here a couple of times now and it's always packed with flavour. Prices are very good and perfect portion sizes. The baklava and mint tea were the perfect cherry on top. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. I can't wait to come back again :)

20/01/2025: Myself an d my wife ate in SpitJack Saturday night. 5pm sitting, great service and excellent food for the two course option. The decor is really nice and when a lot of places are. closing it was great to see full tables. The menu was varied and we had an excellent meal. We will be back!
18/01/2025: Small downstairs but more seating upstairs. Nice feature of courtyard style views on the upper floor. Friendly staff. Good variety of food. However we're not allowed to choose a child version for one with dietary needs. Whiskey platter was a novel option.

24/12/2024: Small place but the fried food was great.
27/11/2024: A very small local chipper just across the toy store but the service is quick and consistent enough to make you return again. The fish and chips itself is very good especially the portion size, the chips could be better in my opinion though but also try the other options on the menu if you get a chance. They also provide discount for students and public servants which makes it quite affordable. Overall, one of the better chippers in the city unlike many other overhyped ones which lack substance.
