The Gleneagle Hotel & Apartments in Killarney

Stayed here for four nights on a coach trip from the UK. The room was quiet and comfortable and the food was excellent, as were all the staff throughout the hotel. The leisure centre swimming pool was superb, and provided segregated lane swimming at the time I visited, which was appreciated. Reception were very helpful, they gave me details of a 10 mile walk from the hotel around the Muckross Lake, which encompassed many unforgettable scenic features. Would choose the Gleneagle Hotel when visiting Killarney in the future.

A fabulous weekend away at the Gleneagle Hotel. Lovely room with a lovely balcony view. All staff were really friendly, welcoming and helpful. Fantastic choice of entertainment and a relaxing leisure centre. A very special thank you to kitchen and dining room staff for the beautiful food and going above and beyond to cater for special dietary requirements - a big shout out to Bernardo for making us feel so welcome and thank you Erik for the excellent service. See you soon again.

I would like to thank this wonderful hotel for helping refugees from Ukraine. We came to this hotel in April 2022. I will always remember how manager Sergey helped everyone, and it was from the heart. Beautiful Sofia did a lot for us all. I can't find the words to express my gratitude to all the staff. It was priceless. The warmest feelings for these people and place. Forever in the heart and memory.

I stayed one night in the hotel and had a wonderful experience. That staff were very friendly and so helpful, and the meal we had in the evening, as well as breakfast, were both delicious. There were lovely touches in the room, like welcoming chocolates, and a great coffee/tea station. The bed was comfortable and I loved the modern bathroom with a huge walk in shower with a rain head. They have cut back on all the unnecessary plastic bottles for waters/shampoos etc., offering excellent alternatives, and have recycling bins in the room, which I did appreciate. What I will remember most about the room was the specular views of Killarney lake, and the incredible mountain ranges around it. It was breathtaking to open the curtains when I woke up.

The hotel may be a little plain and the rooms maybe a little old fashioned - and maybe a fridge in the rooms would be great. But. The service of all the staff and the friendliness of everyone in the hotel is a testament to the way they are treated by management and there is no price high enough that you can put on that. The atmosphere of the hotel is wonderful. We loved our stay there as part of the Your Roots are Showing conference. Thank you!

My two sisters and myself stayed in the Gleneagle hotel just for one night. We arrived on Tuesday 13th of January at 2.50 pm.

Beautiful apartments staff were brilliant looking forward to staying again
