Have a fabulous 3 day's in the hotel, dancing to live entertainment each night afternoon had cooking demo 1 day Bingo, and card games afternoon also had live music in the lounge and dancing 🕺 😀. The hotel also has a bus to collect people from the Train Station, plus if you didn't feel like walking into town the bus €2 each way .The hotel also have a pool if you feel like swimming. I am looking at going back before Christmas ,as they put on some great packages I have been told. I can't say enough about all the staff so friendly and helpful 5* to everyone @Gleneagelehotel.

I took 11 of out Friendship group here for the Active Week we stayed from the 5th October to 9th October, from the Killinarden Family Resource Centre. I have to stay it was a fabulous few days away from the time we arrived the staff were so helpful, kind, so polite. Even down to our breakfast time and dinner time was superb. The food was great and a verity to pick from. I would highly recommend staying. We will be booking again. The activities were good and the courtesy bus from the hotel to the town and train station was great service. To take in the sites of Kilarney was just like a picture. Thank you to all the staff.

Event hotel, sometimes full and hectic. Good breakfast buffet, fitness room, and large swimming pool. Perfect location for sightseeing and Killarney National Park (many attractions are within walking distance).

We stayed at the Gleneagle Hotel, Killarney for one night (all 33 of us) to celebrate our Dad’s 80th birthday and it truly exeded all expectations. From start to finish, the staff could not have done enough for us.
A huge thank you to Anita, who was wonderful in helping us organise everything in advance, from rooms to dinner and dance bookings, making the whole process so easy. On the night, the amazing Fiadh Restaurant team made our family dinner really special. They had a personalised birthday sign for Dad and brought out dessert while singing 'Happy Birthday' - such a thoughtful touch! With our big group (and a few late arrivals!) we weren’t the easiest bunch to coordinate, but the team were so kind, patient and accommodating throughout. The food and service were excellent.
We’d also like to mention Seán, the duty manager, who went above and beyond to make sure we were all seated together later in the evening. His attention and care didn’t go unnoticed and really added to our experience.
The entertainment with Jimmy Buckley and his band was simply brilliant - there was something for everyone and the dancefloor was full all night long, with every generation joining in, from the little ones right through to Dad himself! It was the perfect way to celebrate such a milestone birthday and we all had an absolute ball.
Beyond the celebrations, the hotel itself was fantastic. The rooms were lovely and comfortable, the kids had a great time in the leisure centre and breakfast the following morning was absolutely delicious. The lobby spaces were ideal for our family too, with plenty of room to meet, sit and chat - especially perfect for our parents to relax while the rest of us came and went. The reception staff were also so friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
We left with full hearts, sore feet from dancing and the most wonderful memories. Thank you to everyone at the Gleneagle Hotel for making it such a wholesome and memorable family celebration - we couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommend!

Wonderful hotel. Staff are lovely and facilities fantastic. The only points I would mention is the lack of communication on busy dining periods at the hotel. We had to taxi to Killarney as waiting period was 1hr for seating and 40mins to service. If this was relayed at check in we would have put our name down sooner to avoid hangry children.
Also the room was like a SAUNA. So bad that our youngest didn't sleep a wink which meant we didn't which meant we checked out early to get home to sleep. I understand weather is a factor but this was beyond uncomfortable.
These are points I make but the hotel and staff as a whole deserve 5 stars.

Large family hotel & not suitable if you are looking for a quote getaway. The room I stayed in had a bath not a walk in shower, I requested a room with a walk in shower but they refused to give me one.
There was a small queue for breakfast at 7.30 when it opened, the food was ok but the dinners could be warmer. The lift near reception was very slow. The bedroom was a good size but could do with modernization and when the wind would get strong the bathroom ceiling tiles would lift. The towels were a good size but not that soft. The rooms were clean but hot at times as there was no air conditioning.
