It's difficult to know how many stars to give The Glucksman. The setting is beautiful and the building is interesting although looking a bit tatty these days. The restaurant, in it's current incarnation, is good and a nice place to be on a sunny day. As for the exhibitions, they are often extremely dull and seem to be more interested in being worthy and socially relevant and ticking off a series of curatorial boxes than in presenting visually arresting artworks that work on their own terms. However, we keep going back because although often underwhelmed there is usually at least one piece that is worth seeing, and occasionally an exhibition is truly engaging.

A gallery free of cost which is a must visit place in Cork. Art is a ripple which reverberates through the soul. The paintings displayed on climate awareness create a high impact.

My name is Tracey and i visited the glucksman with my school last month and we had a lot of fun and a great day out to remember and the wedges in the reaustrant near the benches are delicious i would recommend we go back there again
