The Glucksman in Cork

One of the best brunches I have ever had. Very busy so make a reservation. Absolutely worth it!

Step in ! Modern art exhibitions are at home. Young artists and not only displaying their work for us to enjoy.

It's difficult to know how many stars to give The Glucksman. The setting is beautiful and the building is interesting although looking a bit tatty these days. The restaurant, in it's current incarnation, is good and a nice place to be on a sunny day. As for the exhibitions, they are often extremely dull and seem to be more interested in being worthy and socially relevant and ticking off a series of curatorial boxes than in presenting visually arresting artworks that work on their own terms. However, we keep going back because although often underwhelmed there is usually at least one piece that is worth seeing, and occasionally an exhibition is truly engaging.
