The Golden Pheasant in Courtmacsherry

Nice cafe for a spot of lunch in a lovely part of the country.

First time trying the golden pheasant after few years of passing and wondering. Sadly was quite underwhelming. Felt as though it had deteriorated from what it once was, food was okay and the fact they had gluten free sandwiches available was great. Personal preference but we found the decor very tacky. Important to mention that the customer Toilets were filthy. We were glad we had eaten before seeing them. Great location, good coffee and pleasant surrounds

Food is disappointing, specifically the cakes and pastries. It’s a nice venue, but only worth it for the beverages and scenery.

Great spot to stop for a cup of tea and a snack. Beautiful cafe and surrounds. Good service etc.

A little gem in West Cork. Great food & great value in an amazing garden setting.
