Brian at the front of the resort was very helpful and knowledgable. He helped us store our bags while we explored and called us a taxi at just the right time for our flight. Thanks for taking away some of the stress of travel and for making our stay so special.

We love staying here! Great spot to spend the last day in Ireland before heading back to states. Proximity to airport is perfect. Beautiful location on the beach and golf course. Restaurants on site and atmosphere are wonderful. Always enjoy our stays at this resort!

Incredible experience staying here. It was one of the nicest locations we stayed at while in Ireland. The views of the golf course and beach are amazing and the service in atmosphere from the staff was top-notch.

2nd visit and it was wonderful thank you Pierre for looking after us. You are very good at your job. The weather was wonderful so when we arrived we had a lovely walk along the beach followed by cocktails outside in the sun. After our check in we headed back out to enjoy the weather. The relaxed atmosphere was exactly what we needed. We enjoyed a lovely meal at the hotel that evening and breakfast this morning was faultless. Also the chocolates in our room was a lovely touch. well done to all the team. We will look forward to coming again..

Your reporter spent a late summer week at this Irish location, where golf and hospitality blend seamlessly.
The hotel is impeccable: good service, an excellent breakfast, and a pleasant terrace with a bar for post-round reflection. The location is ideal, with several top courses within an hour and a half's drive, making the daily program particularly enjoyable.
The on-site golf course is expensive, but definitely worth it.
For the golf enthusiast who also values comfort, this is highly recommended.

We are so impressed! The location is perfect — access to the beach was great and the view from our room is incredible. The best of all is the staff — everyone was super friendly and helpful. Brian was especially awesome; he made us feel very well taken care of and his recommendations were incredible! If you’re not sure what to do for an afternoon, you should definitely ask him! :)

Disappointing Dining Experience, A Shame Given the Beautiful Setting
I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt compelled to share this experience as the hotel is right on our doorstep in Portmarnock, a beautiful location with a lovely hotel and friendly staff.
Yesterday, I visited with my mother and two young children after a stroll on the beach. We ordered two main courses and two kids’ meals. Unfortunately, the children’s meals were extremely disappointing. My kids are two and seven years old, and both left hungry. The meals were served in what looked like mini soup bowls a tiny portion of penne pasta with a little red sauce. They looked more like baby portions than meals meant to satisfy even a small child.
We followed up with kids’ ice cream, which again came in the same small bowls with a very stingy scoop. It was clear the portions were not thought through they wouldn’t have satisfied a toddler, never mind an older child. A kids’ menu should be suitable for children up to at least 9 years old, and this fell far short.
As for the adults’ meals they were just okay. Nothing to write home about. The chips we received seemed like the last scraps from a bag overcooked, brown, and lacking in quality.
It’s genuinely disappointing, especially considering the high potential this venue has. The setting is stunning, the staff are welcoming, and the hotel itself is lovely but the food is a real letdown. It’s a shame to think that tourists, especially those visiting from abroad, are being served such low-standard food in such a prominent local spot.
I hope the management takes this feedback onboard. A review of portion sizes, especially for kids, as well as food quality and presentation, would make a massive difference. This venue should be a place both locals and visitors can enjoy to the fullest, it certainly has everything else going for it, except the food.

I'm staying at the hotel for business. Have spent one week here already and am enjoying the weekend looking around the very nice area. I'm here all next week too, working in Dublin. The rooms are quite nice. The breakfast is good. There are laundry bags in the room. Mine is now full, having been here for a week. As I couldn't find the laundry list anywhere to fill in, I asked at reception. To be told we dont do laundry. A man comes to get it, but he is on holiday. OK, I asked if he was back this week. Nope. Back on the 18th. It's now the 6th. The nice lady on reception didnt offer any information at all on alternative arrangements. A hotel that markets itself as a quality hotel for leisure (Golf) and business, but can't take care of laundry. Hmmmm.. a bit poor on service really! PS... whilst writing this short review (and about to Google for nearest laundrette) and with a do not disturb sign on the door, one of the staff just knocked and walked straight in. She apologised and started to run away, as I said there's a do not disturb sign on the door... "Sorry" and gone. I'm back.ck for 3 weeks in August. Trying the Malahide Grand next time. Fingers crossed for better service.

Food was lovely, roast beef was absolutely beautiful...stuffed for the day.
