The Golf Links Inn in Portmarnock

One of our favourite hotels. Great service, great food and friendly staff. Beautiful beach walks, fantastic views and nice little village. We will definitely be back!

We stayed in the hotel at Christmas and had a fabulous time. The hotel is in a great location and has really great Christmas decorations. There was a great festive atmosphere there. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We stayed with two small kids and they had a great time. The room was extremely clean and our one had a beautiful sea view. We are dinner in the restaurant and also had breakfast. Both of these meals were really good. Overall, we had a brilliant stay and we will be back. We couldn't fault anything.

My room was spacious with a seaview and the bed was huge. Service was exceptional. Best of all was the spa. It smelled heavenly as soon as you walked in. The relaxation room and chairs were so comfy, I started to doze off. Most comfortable massage table I’ve ever been on. Helen was clearly an expert, she knew exactly what I needed. After she put my face mask on and left the room for a few minutes, I fell asleep again. I left feeling so refreshed and floating on air. Normally I wouldn’t make time for a spa treatment but I’m sooo glad I did and I can’t wait to come back

Beautiful hotel with an amazing view! The room was clean and the overall interior design of the hotel is astonishing! The customer service is bad unfortunately.. the city cut the water that night and when I came down to the reception to have a bottle of water to brush my teeth, the woman was giving me attitude and told me « just go to sleep it’s late »… i couldn’t believe that she wouldn’t offer water and that she would say to go to bed to us. We were on vacation and it was 10h30pm..

Stuffed! Dinner was brilliant, portions were great. Very relaxing atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place, and will definitely be back again

Second time feeling ill after visiting here, The Sunday carvery is fine but the mid week food seems to be dry and frozen. My partners stomach was iffy after the scampi and we were both iffy the second time after the steak. Not sure if the same attention is given to the mid week food.
