The Grand Hotel in Tralee

Nice, older hotel. The hotel has seen better days; the rooms are functional and clean. There's no elevator, but you can have your luggage brought up to your room and back down again. Friendly staff. The breakfast was a bit odd; rolls were counted, and if you wanted more, you were given toast. The selection wasn't great either. But it's fine for a short stay; the location is very central.

Who were I to eat there? The food was very good and we were well served. The prices are normal.

Fantastic family-run hotel in the heart of Tralee! Professional staff, excellent service, and delicious food. Our room was very comfortable with everything we needed. We were lucky to stay during the Féile Festival – the acts performing right outside made it even more special! We can't wait to return to this beautiful hotel

Reasonably priced food served in a bar setting. You won’t be overwhelmed, but you will be well fed.

This is our first time at this hotel and we are thrilled. The room is large, cozy, clean, and has a very comfortable bed, a very large bathroom, and a coffee bar. Last night's meal was the best we've ever had in Ireland. I had Caesar salad and breaded chicken breast in peppercorn sauce with mashed potatoes and vegetables in a creamy sauce. The staff is super friendly and quick. The restaurant was extremely busy, and our food was served immediately. When our coach arrived, several young men were already standing at the door to carry our suitcases to the room. Our guests were extremely happy that there is no elevator. However, it is only one floor high. The hotel bar is very cozy and offered live music. Breakfast is partly buffet-style, and hot meals must be ordered. I think that's great because it means only what is needed is cooked, and the hotel wastes less food. We feel completely at home here and are looking forward to staying several nights.

Recently enjoyed a 2 night stay at The Grand Hotel inTralee.From the moment we arrived could not have had a better experience. On arrivel we were greater by Dick Boyle the owner what a Gentleman. Once inside what a lovely atmosphere warm and welcoming. Decor perfect,Food top class. All the staff were so friendly,Professional and always there to help. Congratulations to all the team such high standards throughout the Hotel.

Such a lovely spot, stayed here 1 night over the weekend on a solo trip- I was expected to check in later that day but due to a sudden change in plans, I got there early and the lovely staff at reception did everything to accommodate this sudden change so that I wasnt left waiting. Clean hotel, lovely shower, comfy bed, ideal location that is central to everything and good value for money-would definitely recommend
