We stayed in this fabulous hotel at the weekend. It is a real gem. The room was exquisite, with great attention to detail. The management and staff were so helpful and lovely. Our dinner was so so nice and our breakfast was delicious. It's location is perfect and stunning views. Will definitely be staying again.

Fab venue for a drink or a meal with a great view over the estuary. The period features inside help create a special atmosphere, but the attentive and friendly staff will bring you back again.

Always a great atmosphere, one visit and your hooked, mouth-watering blistering hot food served by an amazing team , family run hotel carrying on some lovely traditions instilled from old, whether your just calling in for a quick coffee or planning a wedding your treated with the same welcome, excellent value for money, building and grounds are steeped in character, it’s Haven on earth !

The Spinnaker

24/01/2024: A tranquil, chic restaurant with small discounts. Unfortunately, it was only after visiting the restaurant that I noticed that there must have been some kind of resin (cleaning agent?) on my chair. Because my pants suddenly had sticky spots that couldn't be easily removed. The food was quite good, even if it was very expensive in relation to the portion: on recommendation, my companion ordered a fish plate. But this portion was so small that he was still hungry when he left the restaurant.
13/11/2023: Taking an art class and never being here before, I walked in not knowing reservations were being taken for dinner. Even so, I was escorted to a nice table and waited on by a wonderful waitress who presented me with great service and the fish and chips were delicious. Her service was refreshing and gleaned a nice tip from me!
