Excellent pub with delicious food and friendly staff. The lamb stew was to die for. Plus, you can't beat the view here if you sit out back!

Arrived here late on a Monday evening whilst completing the dingle way, the girl behind the bar was great craic and very helpful, will definitely stop off for a sunset pint again 👏

Absolutely incredible staff - so hospitable, friendly and accommodating. We arrived very tired after a long day travelling and walking and couldn’t have hoped for a better place to finish the day, have a burger & a cold cider đŸ˜» thank you so much for everything!

Have tried here several times throughout the last 10 years and it has only ever been ok. Food is mediocre, beat thing on the menu is the fudge brownie desert, continuous poor menu offerings. I have decided i.m not giving the place anymore chances so im not ever returning.

Stopped by chance and it was a wonderful surprise. ate very very well, very nice hostess and really very friendly and patient. They also have gluten free dishes! If you sit in the back you will also enjoy a stunning view of the water! If we are passing through again we will definitely stop again

Lovely pub and restaurant with breathtaking views out the back. The front along the road is a very traditional pub style, while the back is more for dining. There is outdoor seating in the form of picnic benches and I assume that during the summer, this place gets packed. There is a fair amount of parking available in the back, but also along the road. Lunchtime in February was quiet, but the food was good and the pints were perfectly poured. Go for the views and the authentic Irish experience.

Belleek Castle

17/04/2025: I was so lucky to receive a tour of the castle hotel! Carol was incredibly knowledgeable and we talked informally for an hour about Irish history as it related to the Knox-Gore Family and their residence over time including during the Great Famine and after their departure (i.e., the tuberculosis sanatorium, military barracks, and ultimately hotel, venue, and museum). After our insightful conversation, she took me on a tour of Marshall Doran’s exceptionally eclectic collections including geology, Irish history, and weaponry. I loved being able to feel the weight of the weapons from the medieval period and seeing an executioner’s sword limited to use for beheading gentlemen was quite the education!
16/04/2025: We had a great experience. Beautiful walks in the castle's ground. Everyone very friendly and helpful. Would go back tomorrow if I could.

27/04/2025: First visit of the season did not disappoint. Delicious fresh seafood, great wine, cosy atmosphere and stunning views 💜
24/04/2025: Best seafood restaurant in Ireland, with one of the most incredible views. Positioned between a fish factory and pier, The Point is ideally located to get the freshest of produce. Pints and food are delicious. Recommend getting here early as there are no bookings available, but you can enjoy a drink while you wait. It’s worth it.
