Stopped in while walking the Dingle Way — I wasn’t feeling well and the lovely lady behind the bar helped us call a taxi. Really appreciated the kindness. Thank you!

Rushing home to Dublin just wanted a few drinks and chips, the girl serving us hurried the order. Much appreciated. Great place.

Great stop recommended to us by a friend. Arrived just in time for some locals having a jam session, fantastic! The food was great, I had a toastie and the mushroom soup, while my husband had the Bangers & mash. Everything was cooked and seasoned well! A couple ladies at the table next to us had the Goat cheese salad, and it looked amazing! Must try next time!

Unpretentious, this restaurant benefits from an incredible view with outdoor tables which allow you to dine while enjoying the panorama. Simple but friendly welcome from the boss and employees. Simple cuisine but regional and “homemade” products. We had a good time there.

Excellent pub with delicious food and friendly staff. The lamb stew was to die for. Plus, you can't beat the view here if you sit out back!

Excellent food, great value and the best of service. We highly recommend this restaurant. The fish was delicious. One of our group had a burger, it was top quality. Sausages and mash, delicious, home cut potato chips were really good. lovely setting and views of the sea and Brandon Bay. We highly recommend The Junction Bar Restaurant.

Absolutely incredible staff - so hospitable, friendly and accommodating. We arrived very tired after a long day travelling and walking and couldn’t have hoped for a better place to finish the day, have a burger & a cold cider 😻 thank you so much for everything!

Have tried here several times throughout the last 10 years and it has only ever been ok. Food is mediocre, beat thing on the menu is the fudge brownie desert, continuous poor menu offerings. I have decided i.m not giving the place anymore chances so im not ever returning.

Spillane's

16/06/2025: Lovely family spot. We went there shortly after they opened for the season. The staff are lovely, it was busy and everyone was running but they accommodated our group and although not everything was perfect we understand they were just starting up the season. We will be back as the people are lovely and just let them settle in and I’m sure it will be a 5 star review.
11/06/2025: A little gem of the Maharees. Staff were attentive, friendly, and helpful. Starters of calamari and crab claws were excellent and had some of the biggest claws I've ever seen. Monkfish main was spectacularly good served with an unusual but highly complementary passion fruit sauce. Vegetables sides were beautifully cooked. Unfortunately, the carrot cake was a little dry and lacked flavour for my taste. Total bill for 2 including a bottle of house Cab Sauv (which was good) €124. Don't miss if you're in the area. Booking recommended.

Belleek Castle

20/05/2025: We went around 3.30 pm after us ringing to find out times .We got our food that looked ok to start with .I had a burger which I have to say it was so hard I could not put a knife through it .I told the staff which said the could not take it off the bill but would take off the child's dinner .she was not very friendly . I have been there before and had lovely food so was disappointed. I went in to hotel and told them which they said would ring me back but I'm still waiting. Its such a shame.
17/04/2025: I was so lucky to receive a tour of the castle hotel! Carol was incredibly knowledgeable and we talked informally for an hour about Irish history as it related to the Knox-Gore Family and their residence over time including during the Great Famine and after their departure (i.e., the tuberculosis sanatorium, military barracks, and ultimately hotel, venue, and museum). After our insightful conversation, she took me on a tour of Marshall Doran’s exceptionally eclectic collections including geology, Irish history, and weaponry. I loved being able to feel the weight of the weapons from the medieval period and seeing an executioner’s sword limited to use for beheading gentlemen was quite the education!
