Stopped in here for dinner last minute while in Castlegregory recently, literally rang 10 minutes before we arrived and they had a table reserved and ready for us. The service was incredible and the food was perfect. 2 people decided on the fish (battered and oven baked) and they said it was some of the best fish they've had in a while. I opted for the chicken burger and it was delicious. Has great indoor and outdoor eating options. Plus some cosy tables in the pub section. Although you can't beat the view out onto the bay from the restaurant/outdoor area. Plenty of parking behind the pub off the road and more across the road. It has a small kids playground attached to it next to the carpark. Highly recommended if you're looking for a bite to eat in the area.

Dinner out the back on a sunny evening, overlooking the bay. The location is incredible. I had baked cake with mashed potato, roasted vegetables, and a dill cream sauce. Delicious. My companions (4 adults and 3 children) all enjoyed their meals. There is ample parking and a small playground on site.

Stopped in while walking the Dingle Way — I wasn’t feeling well and the lovely lady behind the bar helped us call a taxi. Really appreciated the kindness. Thank you!

Rushing home to Dublin just wanted a few drinks and chips, the girl serving us hurried the order. Much appreciated. Great place.

Great stop recommended to us by a friend. Arrived just in time for some locals having a jam session, fantastic! The food was great, I had a toastie and the mushroom soup, while my husband had the Bangers & mash. Everything was cooked and seasoned well! A couple ladies at the table next to us had the Goat cheese salad, and it looked amazing! Must try next time!

Unpretentious, this restaurant benefits from an incredible view with outdoor tables which allow you to dine while enjoying the panorama. Simple but friendly welcome from the boss and employees. Simple cuisine but regional and “homemade” products. We had a good time there.

Excellent food, great value and the best of service. We highly recommend this restaurant. The fish was delicious. One of our group had a burger, it was top quality. Sausages and mash, delicious, home cut potato chips were really good. lovely setting and views of the sea and Brandon Bay. We highly recommend The Junction Bar Restaurant.

09/08/2025: Very tasty dinner. I ordered fish with shrimps, in sauce and with potatoes. Excellent choice! I recommend visiting this restaurant. The robot that brings food amused us 😅

Mary Barry's Restaurant

13/07/2025: Lovely food great service the fish goujon portions were massive 👍🏻
13/07/2025: My fresh delicate panfried sea-bass was overpowered by the asian flavours of the stir fried vegetables and sauce it was served on. The barely reheated glutinous mashed potatoes and the herby tomato sauce belonged to another dish entirely. I never waste food but for once I left most of it, bar the fish. I couldn’t get my head around the odd combination of food items. Neither was my friend’s beautiful fresh hake enhanced by the thick bland white sauce which had no wine in it. The espresso martinis were delicious and the staff friendly even though run off their feet. Hard not to have ‘fresh’ fish in this location so a simpler more focussed menu would drag this place into the 21st century. Rave reviews indeed but choose wisely. Over-rated and overpriced pub grub from the 90s would best describe it for me.
