The Kingsley in Cork

Very good hotel on the river. Three restaurants, a good bar, very good service and helpful front desk. Spa is very good. Plenty of on site parking.

Absolutely stunning In every way.

I recently purchased a half day spa day in the Kingsley for 155 euro. This included a treatment,90 mins in the thermal suites and lunch. The spa is 5 star, the treatment was excellent. The therapist Patricia was knowledgeable and attentive. Belle on the spa reception was the nicest hostess I've met in a hotel ever. Very welcoming and charming. The thermal suites are very nice - but the 90 mins time frame isn't enough to properly enjoy them. The negative was the most unwelcoming hotel I've been in. No one on reception on arrival, I wandered around and found my own way to the spa on the 1st level. After leaving the spa I went to where I believed the restaurant to be and stood for a few minutes in an empty dining room when a lady came in, looked at me like I was crazy before directing me to a different restaurant. There are 2 in case you ever visit! Neither are welcoming. We had lunch in the Springboard as part of our package. The absolutely rudest host led us to our table. No pleasantries. No welcome. Left us with menus. He never smiled once, took our order, left. The food was ok but I wouldn't rate it more than 2/5. We ordered 2 coffees. My friend said dessert was supposed to be included but we were not given any until 30 minutes after we finished our food and our coffees nor were we given a chance to ask. Without a word the rude host put cutlery on our tables suddenly and another waitress dropped two basic trios of dessert on the table for us. Honestly shocking service from a 4 star hotel. When the desserts were on the table 10 mins we got asked at least twice if everything was OK- for the first time since we arrived- really it was clear they wanted us to move on. In a restaurant that was by no means full on a Monday afternoon! I would rate the spa 5 star but the restaurant and the rest of the hotel brought the whole experience down. Honestly book the spa and then leave.

It's a beautiful hotel was there for a work meeting

One of the best Hotels in Cork. While just there for a short stay, we really enjoyed our stay in the Kingsley. The hotel is well maintained, Staff is very friendly, EV Charging on site, which was very convenient for us. Also the rooms are a good size with everything you want, including Nespresso Machine, Kettle etc. and a TV that you can stream directly to it. We also liked their sustainable approach with Water Jug and refilling Stations on every floor for Water and you could see that they minimize the use of plastics a lot. We travelled with our little one and a little Teddy was waiting for her in the room which was a pleasant surprise. The only critisism I could have was that the room was not ready at 3PM and we had to wait a bit, but other then that our stay was very comfortable. We also had Breakfast which was very good and Room Service from the restaurant in the Evening, which only took 20 minutes and the food was very good also. Definitely a place we will stay again in the future.

Amaizing hotel , the room big and nice, bed so comfy. Ideal for leisure. Food amaizing, a lot of choice for breakfast. Highly recommended

Nice rooms, large TV. Very good pool and leisure centre with warm outdoor pool overlooking the river. Very good breakfast. Nice touches kike 2 Chocolate Kimberly every day. Properly 4 star hotel.

A beautiful place located along the River Lee, with the added convenience of an underground car park. I stopped by the hotel bar with friends for a little break, and I would like to especially thank the Italian waiter (Adam, if I’m not mistaken), who spoke excellent French and offered us a warm welcome and impeccable service. Great coffee and delicious pastries on the top of it!

Scenic views over the river Lee Nice food but pricey

This place never fails stayed here many times used the penthouse a few times I’d definitely visit for coffees food once a week as I live locally great walking area to staff food views and just location 10/10 thanks 🍀 🇮🇪
