The Lakeside Hotel and Leisure Centre in Ballina

Good pint, cosy atmosphere, best location in Killaloe Ballina.

The Lakeside Hotel generously allowed us to base ourselves there for our Lap the Lough cycle and use the showers in the leisure center afterwards. What a gorgeous location! Outstanding staff. And the team meal afterwards was outstanding. Really happy with the whole experience. Many thanks from the South Tipp Cycling Club!

Special mention for Elitza in the bar. We had mother's day lunch at the bar and she went above and beyond in her service for us. Our daughter mentioned in passing that it was her 11th birthday tomorrow and she brought her out a dessert as a surprise. She made our lunch and mother's day. Brilliant.

I really can’t fault the Lakeside hotel. The staff, the service and the professionalism . It is worth a visit just for that👌

A nice pool and an amazing slide. The jacuzzi was out of action though when I was there. A nice warm sauna. However, I found the gym lacking. The floor was slippery and there was no music playing. There was a lack of gym etiquette which meant I didn't get to use any of the weights I wanted to. It could use some rubber mats for lifts such as deadlifts. The staff was very friendly and helpful though.

This is such a beautiful hotel, all the staff are so lovely and go out of their warm. Beautiful gardens and the views from the rooms are just wonderful. Really tasty breakfast aswell!

Beautiful hotel, nice staff, nice food and very warm welcome when we were down for breakfast by a lovely young lady called Sarah😊 The rooms are just beautiful, only down side was the wifi not working properly in the building facing the lake, something that should be looked at as we are paying extra for the superior rooms!
