In the heart of the town of Clifden is a nicely kept well presented cafe/restaurant come B&B. The room was spacious clean and came with all you needed. The breakfast was a lovely traditional irish fry that keeps you going for the day. Teas/coffee for all tastes. In the evening the menu really catered for all tastes but Tappas and pasta a must to sample.

I had a fantastic experience staying at Ivy Clifton near Galway. For just 110 EUR, the value was incredible. The breakfast provided was delicious and a perfect start to the day. The bed was very comfortable, and I appreciated the thoughtful amenities like a TV and reliable hot water. The entire place was spotlessly clean, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting Galway – it truly made my stay enjoyable!

Recently stayed at The Ivy for a night and for 100€ for the night it was absolutely brilliant. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room itself was nice and the bed was very comfortable. The bar and restaurant downstairs were very nice also.

Great atmosphere and decor. Lovely staff. Amazing food, so much umami in every dish. Try the smoked meats, smoked on the premises, really delicious. We dined outside with a very wet dog, thanks for having us and apologies for all the hair he left behind.

A culinary surprise. Delicious tapas are conjured up using fresh Irish products. Accompanied by a selection of excellent Irish cheeses and a freshly smoked Irish mackerel fillet. All that's missing is the equally delicious Sauvignon Blanc and the feast is perfect. This is absolutely worth recommending.

Arrivato tardi con mio figlio! Abbiamo ordinato tre piatti che abbiamo diviso! Tutto delizioso e delicato! Eravamo a 1 metro da un artista che si esibiva e che riusciva ad accompagnare la cena con delicatezza! Consigliato

11/10/2024: Hotel was as you would expect! Ideal. But the staff were incredible! Genuinely friendly and so helpful!! Will certainly be back! Thank you. The food was great too!
15/09/2024: A group of 16 ladies stayed in the Clifden Station House Hotel in a combination of hotel rooms & apartments, to say we had the best time would be selling it short, from the time we arrived we were treated so well, by the time we left we were on first names with all the staff , Martin , Darren & James to mention a few, & the owner also came to our table over dinner to say Hello, we were also blessed with fabulous weather for our weekend trip, We will definitely be back, hopefully in 2025 😊😎🥂☀️
