The pancetta wrapped pork medallions were the best dish I had on our tour of Ireland. Their arancini and ravioli are also mentionably delicious.

Had a wonderful paella and carbonara for lunch. They were very accommodating even with us arriving shortly before their lunch service was ending. Will definitely be coming here again next time I'm in Clifden.

Comfortable stay but wish had been a little better. I love staying in smaller inns and BnBs and usually find them more charming. For the most part, this was no exception. The check in was easy and the staff super friendly and helpful. We were advised that breakfast was served starting at 9 and that coffee was available upon by request from the staff. We came down just after 9, and other than a few others eating breakfast, there was no one there. There was also nothing to drink besides hot water for tea (eg no juice and no one to get coffee) and obviously no one to ask for assistance. It wasn’t a huge deal but was a disappointment. By the time we checked out at 9:45, they seemed to have resolve the issue, were staffed, and serving beverages. This place is really cute and nice but seems to have a few staffing issues to sort out to make it really great. I would consider staying here again but would also consider other options.

Thank you firstly to the friendly , welcoming staff.
We were immediately offered assistance to carry our luggage up two flights of stairs.
Thomas, you are a thorough gentleman.
The room was very comfortable , clean and we slept well.
The breakfast included was delicious, first class!
The soda bread scones the best thing I have eaten in Ireland.
I would highly recommend the Ivy, the staff were beyond helpful and gracious.

Excellent tapas, coffee and cocktails. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Spouse got a haircut next door.
We went to the restaurant and it was just okay. Service was hit and miss. They forgot a snack and we had to ask for our wine after about 20 minutes. The pasta was good but the goats cheese salad wasn't great. The lemon tart was served warm, which was a first and something I hope I never come across again. The wine list wasn't as extensive as I would have hoped. Overall it was so so.
We were traveling as a couple and booked through hotels.com. The B&B is a bit hidden next to/behind the restaurant. Check-in was uncomplicated, if a bit unprofessional. Unfortunately there is no elevator and the stairwell is very narrow. Everything is nicely decorated. The rooms are small but ok. Unfortunately, the cistern never worked for us and the cistern only rarely worked. The remote control for the TV couldn't be found either. The morning meal is set up as a small buffet at the bar and has everything you need.

This is the best restaurant in clifden! We came for dinner here five nights in a row. 👍🫶It’s owned by a lovely family, very warm and welcoming. The food is elevated but not overpriced and the quality and flavors are great. The chef is Italian so the pasta dishes are amazing and very authentic— definitely try the seafood pasta if you go :)
