The Legal Eagle in Dublin

Really great atmosphere for a drink. But the food was only okay, especially for the price point. I wouldn’t come back for it, by any means. The staff were so hard to get attention from, didn’t check in on us and could barely even get them to pay. The spicy margarita wasn’t spicy so if you want a regular margarita order the spicy, it’s €2 cheaper. The cherry blossom was GORGEOUS. So was the Belfast coffee. The Go Figure was nail polish remover - steer clear.

Fantastic Sunday lunch. Found this place after a quick google for the best Sunday lunch in Dublin. You can tell that the chefs take a pride in their work. Service was also excellent and very friendly. Roast beef was cooked perfectly and not overdone as so many other places do.

Lovely and cosy place. Good quality food, nice wine selection and nice service. The Baileys panna cotta was very good too! Highly recommended

Restaurant with a typically Irish atmosphere and decoration, offering hearty and tasty cuisine. The cocktail menu is varied. I highly recommend this address.

The food is fantastic and so is the personnel. You feel at home right at the gate. The pigeon and the pie and the figs and burrata and of course the perfectly poured Guinness. We were there two nights in a row. Thanks

Gorgeous food and really nice place

Five hungry guys visited this place last Friday. We were cramped around a small table for four initially but with some gentle persuasion, we were moved to the back of the restaurant. Starters are amazing. We had them Tapas style so we could each try a bit of everything. Main courses were superb. Great lamb, nice chicken and also the vegetarian squash was very tasty indeed. All was rounded off with delicious desserts. Service was great too. Very friendly and attentive. Only thing we struggled with was the 12.5% mandatory service charge for groups of five or more. This is still a mystery to me. Even so, I’d return any time and can recommend the Legal Eagle to everyone.

My wife and I visited the Legal Eagle for lunch. It is close to our hotel and extremely convenient but we had eaten elsewhere earlier in our trip due to touring the area. We were seated immediately even without reservations which are not required. We had a chance to see the serving portions before we ordered which was a good thing. Two entrees from the main course menu would have been too much food for us, and this is 90 minutes after we finished running a 5 mile race! We ended up ordering the tuna tostada and the oven roasted half chicken. The half chicken was moist and flavorful and not overcooked. I especially liked the potatoes which were par boiled then deep fried giving them a crunchy crust to a soft inside - yum! The star of the meal was the tuna tostada - bite size servings of sushi grade raw tuna drizzled with avocado, togarashi, Sriracha mayo and miso pickled carrots on a cracker - extraordinary! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the service was good too. Give them a try - you won't regret it!
