The Lime Tree in Kenmare

Food was fantastic as were the staff , well worth the visit

We were staying in Kenmare for a few days and found this restaurant very close to our hotel. We were lucky to get a reservation and as soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the friendly staff. Food was excellent and the ambiance is wonderful with a wood burning stove and beautiful surroundings. Throughout the meal the staff were friendly and attentive and we could not have asked for anything more. Will definitely return to eat here again if we come back to Kenmare - in fact, it was so good, we might just come back to Kenmare specially to eat there (and we live in the US, so that tells you just how good it is!).

After 10 days on the Beara Way and almost daily pub food, we found this germ. The service: outstanding! the food: fantastic - if you are in Kenmare this is a mandatory place to visit for a nice eve out.

The moment you walk down the driveway and see the fairy lights twinkling and the candlelight glowing , you know you’re in for a real treat. The atmosphere is cheerful , the staff so welcoming and friendly, the food is superb. I know there are many very good restaurants in Kenmare and sometimes it feels like there is TOO much choice. But having been to the Lime Tree I can honestly say that it’s the pick of the bunch. The atmosphere, the lovely staff , the quality and the presentation of the food are second to none. Eating here is a memorable experience. They’ve managed to tick all the boxes , and I love the fact that it’s owned and run by a family all working together as a team to make your night special. I cannot wait to go back.

Fantastic evening at the Lime Tree - beautiful setting with a cosy table by the fire, and exceptionally welcoming staff. Food was super, particularly the fish of the day (hake) and potato gratin. Can't wait to return next time we're in Kenmare!

A family gathering-11 of us in total. Three generations at the table and our experience was amazing from the moment we entered the door. Service was exemplary, menu was excellent, quality of food was YummyLicious…loved every minute and morsel this beautiful restaurant. We’ll be back!!

Tienen varios espacios de comedor, y estábamos sentados en el comedor principal cerca de la puerta principal. El ambiente es simplemente impresionante, con un ambiente a la luz de las velas y servidores cálidos y amigables. El menú ofrece varias opciones y la carta de vinos que lo acompaña es excepcional. Si estás en Kenmare, ¡no te pierdas el Lime Tree!

Gorgeous restaurant, professional service and outstanding food.

My family and I have been coming to the Like Tree for YEARS. The best food in Kenmare. Absolutely delicious - chicken wings, Black sole / Shepards Pie and finish with crepes.
