The Little Cottage Café is a lovely, down-to-earth spot that feels warm the second you walk in. It’s small, cosy, and has that homely charm like you’re sitting in someone’s kitchen, not a busy café. The decor’s simple but thoughtful, with little touches that make it feel personal, not staged.
It’s quiet enough to relax, but still has a nice buzz with locals coming and going. A proper comforting place to have a cuppa and unwind.
This is a lovely cafe with fantastic cake and baked goods. The lunches looked amazing as they went by me and I'd absolutely return next when I come back to this direction. Thank you to the friendly staff inside.

Banging 💕 came here twice for breakfast over the bank holiday weekend. Got the breakfast bap and pancakes with poached fruit and yoghurt on the first day. The bap was standard enough but the pancakes were unbelievable.
The second day we both got granola bowls and iced coffee's. Get these. Get them lads. They are unreal. I've never enjoyed a granola bowl and an iced chai latte like I did here. 10/10 recommended.
Cute little spot also with lovely staff.

Looking for a late lunch on a wet afternoon, the little cottage provided a comfortable, clean warm place, with happy professional staff. The sandwiches were all excellent, both coffees and hot chocolate very good and my wife rated the millionaires shortbread as the best she ever paid for. Still another three days left in Sligo, so we could be back again!

Often overshadowed by more well-known places, Sligo is truly a wonderful destination.
The Little Cottage Café in Rosses Point features a modest indoor seating area and a menu that, serves its purpose. Be aware—the 4 PM closing time is enforced, as noted in other reviews.
If indoor seating is unavailable, service is provided via an outdoor hatch with drinks and takeaway bags handed off in short order. It’s easy to imagine this place getting extremely busy during peak times.
Based on my Wednesday afternoon visit, it's clear that operational efficiency is the café’s top priority. This focus on speed and structure may come at the expense of a relaxed, leisurely atmosphere you may be looking for.
Excellent coffee + espresso. Great range of tasty pastries and cakes.
Don’t really cater for vegetarians but you can order bespoke food to suit. Nearly always packed.

Perfect smoked salmon, almond pear cake, the best since we arrived in Cork.
If we have time we will come back to taste the other specialties of the chef with the green apron.
Well done
