It was a great find and the fish was excellent! The service was also amazing. I would definitely recommend! We had the mussels and risotto with fish and both were really excellent!

Great seafood restaurant in Killarney, that is very reasonably priced. They serve fresh locally sourced seafood that was excellent. I had the pan seared sea bass with risotto and squid ink.

Great seafood restaurant. I had half a dozen oysters there and an excellent monkfish with potatoes. They also pour a good pint of Murphy’s.

The cocktails were amazing. I had the porn star. The fish was on point; potatoes were banging and the staff was very knowledgeable. Would definitely eat here again.

The food is really nice. Good people all around. Nice atmosphere as well Please DON'T FORGET TO BOOK THE TABLE BEFORE YOU COME. IT'S MOSTLY BOOKED OUT OR ELSE NEED TO WAIT MORE THAN A HOUR.

Great food, beautiful restaurant we were the only table which doesn't lend well to great atmosphere but the service was also quite flat. Would definitely return based on food alone.

The Porter House

18/11/2025: We wandered in on a cold rainy night in early November based ona recommendation from a local shop keeper and received a warm welcome and a seat at a snug in the front window. The staff were absolutely wonderful. And the food was amazing, so good we went back the next night and had 2 of the best meals we had on our whole trip. Wonderful cozy atmosphere, delicious food and friendly staff, it literally doesnt get any better than this.
14/11/2025: Finbar was an exceptional waiter with taking care of us and our order . We really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. A must when in Killarney

16/09/2025: Lovely hotel in the heart of Killarney.Rooms are very comfortable and breakfast is great. Michelle and Ina on reception are a joy to engage with. Both so genuine helpful and friendly . Michelle organised a buffet breakfast one morning I had to leave really early without having to even ask And night porter was a gentleman. . Stayed here quite a few times and it's always excellent.
20/08/2025: Had a lovely weekend stay with my girlfriend. The staff were very pleasant and the room was clean and met all my expectations. Breakfast was very tasty with plenty of vegan/vegetarian options. Less than 5 minutes walk from the train station, it is right in the heart of Killarney.
