The Mariner is a nice pub, I dropped in during the late afternoon after being out and about and caught a local football game on one TV and a rugby union game on the other. The staff were good craic, very polite and helpful, the service was excellent and the Guinness was delicious. Well worth the visit.

Really lovely pub. Great service from very friendly and welcoming staff. Great atmosphere and spotlessly clean. Service was very quick for both food and drinks. Food was very good. Portions were very good value for money. Would definitely recommend and visit again when in the area.

The food is always fresh, delicious, The atmosphere feels warm and welcoming, making every visit enjoyable. The owner is genuinely kind and attentive — someone who truly cares about the customers and the quality of the restaurant. You can feel the passion behind the service.
14/11/2025: We had a lovely experience on a busy Saturday night with my wife, the owner and staff were very welcoming to us, and the food was amazing we had pizza and fillet steak, absolutely recommend it.
