The Mex in Cobh

I have to give a special mention to The Mex, Cobh. They are situated right opposite to the titanic experience. They have AMAZING vegan options. They have vegan Quesadillas, Tacos, Burritos and Nachos. The Nachos with Avacado Cream and Cheese are the best I have ever had. Trust me, im not over hyping them. I can still taste them on my taste buds. So delicious! 🫠 It's a must to try the Vegan Chorizo Burrito bowl. 🥰 The staff over there are friendly and flexible.

Our group of seven adults thoroughly enjoyed our meal at The Mex! Staff were exceptionally gracious and kind! They helped us celebrate the birthday of one of our group!

An unexpected find in Cobh! Excellent burritos and bowls with veryy generous portions and fresh ingredients. And also to mention the restaurant quality garlic parmesan fries.

Pretty authentic Mexican food, of which the Birria tacos are the absolute star. They are tender and greasy in all the good ways, and the dipping sauce is phenomenal. They also offer some sparkling juice drinks that are refreshing. Portions are decent. All dishes come takeaway. There's upstairs seating but feels like a quiet cafeteria or library.

Very delicious food and excellent quality-price ratio!! They had no chicken left and I ordered the beef quesadilla and it was the best! The place is small and only has 3-4 tables, we were lucky and were able to sit inside. If you order the burrito, I wouldn't order the nachos because the burrito already includes potatoes and the truth is that the nachos were what we liked the least. Even so, it is a cheap place where you can go to eat at any time and it is quite delicious.

It was okay, normal taste,my first time try taco 🌮, like the pickled chilli in it. The staff was friendly ☺️.

The birria tacos were wonderful! It made me feel back home. Cobh is far for me but I would definitely go back to try this food again. 🫶 The only think I would say is that (at least for me), you can add chopped onion and coriander to the birria tacos, that would give a more authentic flavour. Besides that is a 10/10

What a great little place! Recommended to me by a friend , we drove down from city to try this place out today. The gal behind the counter was incredibly nice and the food was great!
