Seven of us had dinner together here and we all went for the specials. Good big portions of tasty food. No need for starters or dessert. Great service. Lively place. Buzzy atmosphere. Well run - very organized, attentive, efficient.

Stopped off her for something to eat. I had fish and chips. It wasn't good. All batter no fish and the chip were just average. Couldn't recommend.

We had a beautiful meal in the Moorings today. If I could write a poem about the 'braised beef' I would. Talk about melt in your mouth. Beautiful meal, lovely atmosphere and friendly and helpful staff.

09/03/2026: Had an absolutely lovely evening for a friend's birthday , friendly service amazing food served piping hot (a table of 10) the place was buzzing. Music as well.
