The Old bake house in Miltown malbay

During our stay near Milltown we had dinner in the Old Bakehouse twice. We loved our food on both nights. Their monkfish special was delicious and their steaks were simply to die for. Staff very helpful and friendly. I'd highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for delicious food and great service.

Pretty average resturant, food quality was reasonably average, side salads were not impressive, portion size was good to be fair. I noticed it was a seafood restaurant on TripAdvisor however I would not rate it as 4-5 star one. Overall, it’s worthwhile for a visit for a decent portion size meal, clean restaurant friendly staff, however the quality is just slightly on the lower end.

The food was unbelievable I ordered fish and chips and the fish tasted super fresh and crispy I also had a delicious house made cheesecake, the atmosphere was wonderful as there was live music playing, my only negative was that the service was a little slow and it took me over 45 minutes to receive my food.

We ate here on a public holiday. The restaurant was busy, but there was still a place available for us. The service was very friendly and also very attentive. The fish was fresh, we were told it had only been delivered around midday that same day. All ingredients are regional. The food tasted excellent! The portions were a good size. The Cajun salmon was great! If requested, a little less of the spice was used so that it wouldn't be too spicy. The nut patties were also great, we had never had anything like them! It was a great meal in a nice atmosphere with friendly service

homemade sourdough was so good, soup was vegetable but tastes more like carrot. Staff were very nice.
