The Old Barracks Restaurant in Athenry

Definitely worth a visit! Fabulous cosy atmosphere. The food is fantastic! The staff are so lovely, amazing service! And the manager Scott is so professional and so obliging! 5 out of 5 stars for sure!

Absolutely stunning Food! I have never been to Athenry before but I’ll certainly be back even though I live on the east coast. My wife had the best goat’s cheese salad that she’s ever had in her life, and I had a really fabulous Salmon salad that was absolutely divine. The pickled ginger on top was a wonderful addition and really brought it to the top level of gourmet dining. I wish we had more restaurants like this in my locality!

Popped in for breakfast on a Sunday Morning, food was tasty, great value and the staff looked after us well. Will definitely be popping back in again!

We had a lovely meal at the Old Barracks yesterday evening. I ordered the salmon noodles and my wife had the roast beef. Both dishes were fresh, generous in portion, and absolutely delicious. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, making the entire experience even better. We couldn’t fault a single thing and will definitely be returning for more delicious food.
