The Old Barracks Restaurant in Athenry

Always such friendly faces. Came here for lunch on New Years Day. We were looked after so well with our little baby. Delicious food and fantastic service. We love coming here when we visit family in Athenry.

Fantastic breakfast with superior service. Made a stop here on my drive from Dublin to the Cliffs of Moher and it was a highlight of my day. If you’re looking for a quality authentic dining experience, this is worth the detour. While you’re here, make sure to check out their bakery right across the street and grab a Guinness loaf to go!

We stopped on our way to Centreparcs with 3 kids. Exceptional service and food. Lovely festive atmosphere. Kids loved the colouring and chats with our lovely waiter about Pokémon 😊 thanks folks!

Absolutely fantastic…. The staff here were wonderful, and the breakfast was truly delicious with plenty of healthy options to choose from. I’ll definitely be returning, and I’ve already recommended this place to several friends. Highly impressed!

I was recommended here by a university of galway Professor. She said it was not to be missed. She was right. The preparations, the service was exceptional. The meal's components were fresh, perfectly seasoned, ample, precisely cooked and delicious. Eve if you have to drive a hour to get here, it's a bucket list experience you didn't know you needed.
