The Oval in Cork

14/12/2024: Was here last night with lovely Ursula and some of our great friends for dinner Super ambience here and nice buzz. The food was superb. Everyone enjoyed it immensely. I had sizzling prawns and they were great! We were attended to by the lovely Deirdre. Overall a smashing experience. Highly recommended

09/12/2024: Had a really enjoyable lunch here. The food was really good, fresh, flavourful and cooked perfectly. Portions were good, prices were reasonable and the restaurant itself is well designed. At lunchtime it’s hard to rate atmosphere but I’d imagine that in the evening with food this good the place would be buzzing with happy diners. Service didn’t have much scope to be more than fine, which it was.
