Staff isn't trained properly unfortunately however, they do their best. Good facilities and a decent bar. Foods fine, but shouldnt cost as much as it does.

I visited The Pavilion and was pleasantly surprised. The venue boasts a modern yet cozy décor, creating a great atmosphere for both casual meetings and more formal events. The space is spacious, with comfortable seating, and the service was very attentive and helpful. The menu is varied, offering both classic dishes and more original offerings. All dishes were fresh, tasty, and well-presented. The selection of drinks and desserts is also worth noting, as they are the perfect end to a meal. The prices are reasonable, and the quality of the food and service definitely matches the value offered by this venue. The Pavilion is a perfect place for a relaxing lunch or dinner with friends, as well as for business meetings.

It's an ok place, I find the decor terrible and needs a refresh. It has nice benches to sit outside in but the staff take ages to clear down the tables which attracts the crows.

16/10/2025: My second experience with a Michelin star restaurant and it was a pretty fantastic one , the dishes were varied, unique and delicious , the experience was great, the staff were very attentive, polite, informative and the kitchen were diligent when it came to some dietary restrictions both myself and my partner had . A worthwhile experience in a stunning location.
02/10/2025: It’s what you expect: intricate plating prepared with fairly classic techniques (foams, gels etc). Everything cooked perfectly and glimpses of a few exciting flavours. The room is very quiet - this is a hushed tones kind of place with almost no decor - it feels like a rented space, not a long standing restaurant with any discernible personality. Service was kind, but not at the highest level (examples: dishes were introduced but not explained in any detail. They took my napkin when I left for the restroom and forgot to replace it for ages. They didn’t notice chips in the wine glass rim. The pacing was extremely uneven - long gaps between courses meant we were there over 4 hours). And the wine pairing unfortunately didn’t add anything to the food. I think it’s a good place for the golf club crowd who like classic, approachable fine dining.

Shallots

16/08/2025: The feast began with the onion bhajis — pure temptation in golden form. Soft and pillowy inside, steaming and delicate, wrapped in a crisp, wispy, haunchy shell that shattered with each bite. They didn’t just crunch — they sang, every mouthful teasing me with that sinful contrast of tenderness and bite. Then came the chicken Balti, steaming hot, just the way you like it — fire in the mouth, steam practically pouring out of my ears. Every bite was a glorious punishment: heat, spice, and pleasure tangled together. It hurt, oh it hurt, but every damn minute of pain was worth surrendering to. The rice — long, slim, and silken — slid in to soothe the fire, filling every gap and brushing both sides of my mouth. Each grain stretched the experience, a gentle balance to the storm, teasingly simple but deeply satisfying. The garlic naan — soft, steamy, and dripping with garlicky goodness — caught the tears I shed with every fiery mouthful, each bite a tender hand against the burn. The kebab followed — smoky, charred perfection, juices dripping, each bite a deep, primal satisfaction that clung to the tastebuds. The kind of bite that makes you forget the world outside exists. And then, of course, the sting ring — the inevitable finale, the wicked reminder that all good things come with a price. Painful, yes. Worth it? Absolutely. I can’t wait for this evening — and in the morning, well, that’ll just be the cherry on top.
28/07/2025: Had a lovely meal recently and absolutely loved the food! Shallots, saag paneer, and daal tadka were all exceptional, packed with flavour, perfectly spiced, and incredibly satisfying. Each dish had a homely touch while still feeling restaurant-worthy. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic and delicious Indian food. Will definitely be coming back!
