The Pikeman Bar in Tralee

I still dream of the steak sandwich from Pikeman's. I will be back one day!

Visited The Pikeman Bar at The Grand Hotel in Tralee during our road trip in Ireland, based on the recommandation in ‘Rough guide’. The bar area and atmosphere was brilliant. I had the seafood platter salad and I was blown away by the freshness and quality of the food. My partner had the rib of beef which was excellent as well. We were so pleased with the food that we returned the next day for breakfast and the full Irish breakfast was fantastic. Amazing value for the price we paid on both occasions. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful meal for dinner here. The quality was excellent and xou have a good range of choices even three vegan mains. Great. We had a fish which had a delicious taste and beautifully presented. The staff is very friendly and professional

We had a fantastic dinner here. The ambiance is authentic and very pleasant. The service was exceptionally attentive and very friendly. We had a wonderful carrot soup for starters and the fish for the main course. Everything was perfect. It couldn't have been better. Thank you very much.

I had a very enjoyable breakfast here at the restaurant in The Grand on one day, and drinks the other during my two days in Tralee. Lovely friendly staff, beautiful decor and a nice atmosphere. There is a good varied menu and although the prices are not cheap, you do get the quality you pay for. Lovely to sit out at the streetside tables if you get the weather as I did.
